2004 Ford Escape User Reviews

i rented an escape for a week. i drove to las vegas to bullhead city, then to kingman, returning to orange county, my starting point.

i've never driven an suv, though i've been a passenger in a few. i have back problems so sitting up with knees bent is a must for longer trips.

the escape was a lucky choice, i feel. certainly an expedition, tahoe etc. would be even more comfortable, but i found the escape to be more than adequate in those areas. mileage, handling, performance, convenience with driving comfort . . . all features in the escape.

i'm going to rent an explorer for two weeks, and after that, i should be able to make a decision to buy. i'm leaning toward the escape because of features vs price.
