I've had many hatchbacks and sports cars over the years, but my SVT Focus is by far the most comfortable car I've driven. It darts around town like you wouldn't believe, and handles just as well too! This car pretty much has everything I could want in a car as standard equipment, and is priced fairly. The only thing I would change on it is add an MP3 player, and add more torque. I find the power is more than sufficient for a little sleeper car, but we can always use more power! Overall, an amazing little car that is sure to please. Shame on Ford for discontinuing this great car. Bring it back!...read morehide

I hate to say it...but if you did not buy a SVT Focus while they were on the market, then you suck. I recently bought a 2004 5 door (black with black leather) and I love it to death. It is my baby. The Euro package is worth every penny! I do agree that SVT should have put a super/turbo charger in the Focus, but i'm satisfied without it. Taking it down the the coast and driving on Highway 1 with that six speed manual is off the hook. I haven't had a problem with it yet, and it's almost time for the first oil change!...read morehide

I have just purchased a 2004 sonic blue SVT Focus. The car is sweet. It looks great very user friendly and is fairly fast. I am a car guy and I pretty well know my stuff. The only thing that I do not like is SVT not supercharging it from the factory. They supercharged the lightning and the cobra, so why not the Focus? If they would have done that it would have been able to keep up the SRT-4 Neon. Any way, I enjoy the car, it is very fun to drive....read morehide

This car is by far one to consider. It combines excellent handling, braking, power, interior design, exterior design, and just overall it puts the fun back into driving. The gas mileage is excellent, I get 34 hwy and 21 city. It is too bad that the company has decided not to make them after the 2004 model year. I am very glad I got mine before they vanished....read morehide

this car is absolutely great! it has awesome features, good gas mileage and good safety. i, like many teens, street race. this thing hasn't let me lose yet! i have attached a spoiler, body kit, vinyl, enhanced interior and exteriors, and ofcourse, red streetglow neons. well, if you don't soupe up your car, then it's still great....read morehide

The SVT Focus is a lot of bang for the buck, especially with generous cash rebates (I paid less than $17,000 out the door). This is the best handling and braking front wheel drive car I've ever driven (acceleration ain't bad either). My only concern is the long term reliability since this is my first Ford purchase, and I've always driven imports (Honda, Acura, Mazda) before. But after a couple of thousand miles, I have no complaints and only praises for this hot hatchback. And don't discount the spacious cabin and cargo area. I think of it as a high performance micro SUV. So, if you're looking for an inexpensive, high performance car with utility, the SVT Focus is what you want....read morehide

This car is a lot of fun to drive. It is easy to tell it has a European heritage with it's precise handling and 6 speed gearbox matched up perfectly with the torque curve of the motor. It is easily the best small hatchback that I have driven. What a sleeper.
