BEST KEPT (Used Car) SECRET IN THE MID-SIZE AUTOMOTIVE WORLD= KIA Optima V6!! Same mechanics/drivetrain as (JD Power top-rated Hyundai Sonata V6 and is MORE ATTRACTIVE with Euro-styling!)

As I laugh to the bank, I am driving a car that is $30,000 cheaper than a BMW 528i and over $6000.00 under the original sticker price. GREAT FEATURES (don't buy the 2.4 4 cylinder, not enough engine) include a very peppy 170 HP engine, with handy Tiptronic/Auto Transmission is PLENTY of power for the highway (I pass cars with supreme confidence), Premium 6 speaker AM-FM CD Player is PLENTY of car audio for most people. Power locks, steering, cruise, tilt and (optional) ABS brakes, with 60K mile/5 year wtransferrable warranty makes this car an UNBELIEVEABLE BUY! (Bought mine with 7K miles for just over 11,00!!)

If you find one, hop on the next jet plane and buy it! Don't listen to the "Toyota/Honda/Nissan only" crowd. This car is, by far, the BEST DEAL of the 21st Century!

If Hyundai/Kis doe not catch up to these other companies within 2-3 years, I'll be shocked!...read morehide

I love this car it is a budget BMW and it has never given me bit of problems

There is no better value on the road I got it end of the year with a rebate for 12k loaded!!!!

My sister inlaw has a BMW and our kia looks just as good it wont go as fast but rides just as smooth. and our payments are alot lower too alot lower!!!!

Do not compare it to a BMW, or a Lexus. It's not a Super Yenko Camero either. It is a solid (small) mid-size car. It will cruise at 95 mph all day and even accelerate to 110 when needed. Do not buy the 4 cyl. buy the 6. It is a loaded Hyundai Sonata with a big discount. The Sonata rated #1 in intitial quality, expect the same in the KIA, it's just not well known. I looked at a lot of different cars at different prices, and I chose the Optima. I now have 23,000 miles on the car and haven't had any real problems. My only concern was the cruise control at first. Kia was able to solve my problem, and has always treated me like a Lexus customer. The car's quality is Toyota like, and there are still no squeaks and rattles. I have been getting great mileage with no repairs. My friends ask me what make this car is, and I do get a lot of looks from other people. The car is a classic. I JUST BOUGHT KIA OPTIMA A MONTH AGO AND BROUGHT TO DEALERSHIP TWICE ALREADY; FRONT WHEELS RATTLING, MOONROOF STOP WORKING SUDDENLY. AM TOTALLY CLUELESS WHATS GOING ON. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS CAR AT ALL.

HAVING OWNED A FORD EXPLODER OPPS SORRY EXPLORER FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS AND THAN BUYNG THIS GREAT SEDAN MY DRIVING LIFE HAS NEVER BEEN BETTER EVEN WITH 2 SMALL KIDS THERE IS STILL HEAPS IF ROOM IN THE BACK AND HAS MORE THAN ENOUGH POWER FOR ME WAY TO GO OPTIMA!!!

I just traded in my 2003 KIA Rio Cinco and got the Kia Optima EX .. The ride is very smooth.. a classy ride for sure. The space inside makes the Rio feel like a fat man in a phone booth.
The Sportmatic shifting is a lot of fun and very easy to learn. It's a fun car to drive and a head turner.

For those who want speed, buy a Corvette. Those who want a car that they can afford, lasts a long time,dependable,economical,and has the best warranty around. Go to your nearest KIA dealer now.

Everything looks great except two problems:
1) Brakes squeaking eventhough it does not have any problem. Just annoying noise.
2) Acceleration looks like shortness of breath.

Runs good though.
