We bought a NEW 2004 Kia on November 3, 2004. November 10 it broke down with only 425 miles on it. Transmission had to be replaced!! Broke down AGAIN on November 27. Started dying when we would stop. Was in the shop for 3 weeks (just got it back last night). Kia unable to verify problem because it only happened once for them!! Gave van back to us unfixed!! Just waiting for it to break down again. This is unacceptable for a NEW vehicle with only 1100 miles on it now!! The Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau have been contacted. Watch out for that 100,000 mile warranty as well! Everything has to be followed to a "t" or they won't honor it!! (This hasn't applied to us so far though). Kia reps are TERRIBLE at getting back with anyone. Now I see why the other vans are more expensive...they actually run!!!!...read morehide

My 2004 Sedona LX eats too much gas.
GAS Miledge average is 13 miles / gallon.
(My driving way is midium traffice for 4 miles, and 4 miles highway)
It is the lowest gas mileage in the same class mini van.

The seats are too heavy ,Cant move themto different places ,When u try to fold them up the have a mind of there own. You have to tie them up or they will roll back on the floor. If you drop the center seat down it automatic slides forwared Not good if you want it to stay in place. Van need mor floor space. No roor for grocery in rear....read morehide

I work for a toyota dealer and I did a lot of research before we purchased our sedona. I could not justify spending $26000.00 on a comparably equiped siena. we have 700 miles and love our 2004 sedona LX we paid $15000.00 and my co-workers grimace when they here that after they spent 10 to 11 thousand more for a mini-van with less warranty. the only thing i would like to see is remote entry with the LX as standard....read morehide

We just purchased the 2004 Kia Sedona EX and are so very pleased with our purchase. After looking into all the other vans out there, the Dodge Caravan, Chevy Venture, The Town & Country, etc. the Kia caught our eye. It is a pleasant ride, it handles easily, and rides smooth. The inside is a bit smaller than the other vans and smaller than our Mercury Villager but that is a small inconvenience compared to the price of the Kia and how well equipped this is. It has all the cupholders you need! With kids this is a necessity. Of course we are pleased right now since we have only owned it for 24 hours but I hope this proves to be a wise choice. I did much research and read many reviews on all the vans out there and this one rated so high with safety and price.
A nice van!!!...read morehide

Our 2003 has been a really good vehicle for us, putting to rest all the old stereotypes about the quality of Kia products. The interior and the ride are both very comfortable. The removable seats (although a little heavy for some people) really make this van -- which has a larger interior than other more expensive vans -- a great multi-purpose vehicle.
My only complaint so far about this vehicle is the very mediocre factory two-tone paint job. It doesn't take much at all to get paint chips....read morehide

Test drive this van...you won't be sorry. Great value and solid built. Kia is a sleeper...get them while they're still reasonably priced. I've owned mine for 9 months with no problems.

My husband and I are so pleased with the quality of the car for the value. Wish it had either better gas mileage or a bigger gas tank. But we have no regrets

When I purchased my 2004 Kia Sedona, in May of '0, I loved everything about it, espicially the price! I only paid $11,500 for my Sedona, loaded with leather, and I live in NY!! The warrenty is great, and so is the comfort. I recomend the Sedona to any family who wants a comfortable, reliable, safe reasonable mini-van....read morehide

Traded in a 2002 Quest, miss the vcr entertainment package,my 16 year old granddaughter likes the 2nd row seat comfort. The 3rd row is not designed for adults, difficult to get in and out of third row, fold down release handles should be accessable from the rear door, difficult even from the front.More stable than the Quest when 18 wheelers pass, does not shake us up....read morehide
