This is a $30k vehicle for 20k! Drives extremely well, plenty of
reserve power for towing or hills. Has 5 star side impact rating.
All in all....a lot of value in this vehicle!

I never in a million years thought I would ever own an SUV! I always thought they were too bulky & big aka Escalade,Navigator,Excursion! But the Kia Sorento is compact, not bulky, not big, smooth ride, 5 * safety rating, comfortable, perfect for my family of 4. I would recommend a Kia Sorento EX to anybody! I love my Sorento!...read morehide

The Sorento offers the most equipment for the most economical price. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I have all the features of other top of the line cars without the price.

A great car even if it were sold at the same price as its competitors. You should opt for at least the Auto transmission which comes with alloy wheels and roof rack. Fog lights and alarm system would have been nice, as well as locking fuel hatch. When reviewing a car, you should compare it to other cars in its class (not some sedan). It is at the top in terms of overall attractiveness, warranty, and value. Ground clearance, acceleration, roominess, safety and 4wd capability are probably above average. It is average in standard features, towing capability, and cargo room. It is probably below average in city fuel economy, horsepower, resale value, and weight (it's heavier than most). But I'll tell you what, who cares about HP and wt if it still accelerates well? Highway fuel economy is actually not bad. And I don't care about resale value since I'm not planning to sell it!...read morehide

I own 2 of these Korean built cars. the first is a KIA Sedona Van. Really nice inside and out, Gas mileage is not the best but, when you consider that it is a big 6 cylinder pretty much like the big 6 in Ford or Chevy the mileage is about the same as theirs. Small problems with the Sedona nothing worth crying over. Now my Dodge was another story.......read morehide

EXACTLY A WEEK LATER THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AGAIN AND MY ENGINE VIBRATES WHEN I TURN IT ON. TOOK IT BACK THEY SAID THEY FOUND AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. THE VERY NEXT DAY, YOU GUESSED IT, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AGAIN AND THE ENGINE STILL VIBRATES. STILL IN THE SHOP TILL THIS DAY. STILL HAVEN'T ENJOYED MY SORENTO. IS THIS A LEMON OR WHAT??????? SOMETIMES I WONDER IF I MADE A BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!...read morehide

No one should ever buy a car from The Cherry Hill Triplex. You are tricked into thinking you are getting a great deal with a trade in, get you to sign papers, loose your car, & then give you a different price. I bought a Kia, Sorento. The gas milage sucks, I don't get 15 around town, I get 8 to 10. Highway I get 15, they said this car keeps its value, I paid $27,000. & could of gotten the same car elsewhere for $24,800. Two months old, now I'm told my car is worth $18,000! Don't go to Cherry Hill Triplex. They should be put out of business....read morehide

I purchased a 2004 Sorento EX 4x4 with all the extras. After 4300 miles, the engine was replaced. It was under warranty so I didn't pay a dime. The dealership paid for the rental car I had for 16 days. Now that I have my new Sorento back with a new engine, it doesn't run the same. There's a vibration in the rear, the transmission shifts different, it just doesn't seem the same. I love my Sorento but it just doesn't seen like the car I bought....read morehide

I purchased the Sorento 2004 EX 4x2 with side bars and anti-lock brakes. I now have 5,000 miles on it and not a single problem, not even a loose screw. The quality in on par with Mercedes and Lexus, you can see it when you open the front hood. The 3.8 liter v6 is every bit as powerful as the V8 in my previous explorer, so the 16mpg is justified for me. And it comes in at 8K less. If you purchase an SUV make sure you get anti-lock brakes. This is optional on Sorento but should standard with the cost added in. Why?... anti lock brakes are what prevent the vechile from turning sideways in a panic stop and going into a roll, and because both front wheels never lock you have control over the steering as well...a must have. The $300 optional step-sidebars will give you added protection in a side impact. I also added the Kia MUSA brush guard in the front for another $600...what's "your" life worth?...read morehide
