The brakes are a never ending problem! We are in the process of filing a Lemon Law Suit!

Overall I am pretty disappointed with this car! The people at Nissan are very unhelpful & unfriendly as well! We have come across quite a few people who are unhappy with this same car for reaccuring reasons.

Too noisy, cheap interior, poor service from dealerships

Interior plastics and Doors start making weird noises after about a year. Dealership cannot fix them. Poor service experience. Sunglasses were stolen from car while at dealership. Too much road and engine noise.

Cloth seats are cheap (get leather). ABS not standard on 3.5SE (stupid!), bundled options=annoying

I love my car. I've never had a problem... despite a few recalls.. I've never been inconvenienced (they were always taken care of while I was getting an oil change). The performance kills a honda or toyota. The only complaint is the cloth on the seats is cheap, wears poorly, I'd get leather. Otherwise this car rules. Even performs well when you don't put in premium fuel (mid grade recommended). If you live in a snow state, be ready to adjust to driving a light car that slides/drifts... and ABS is not standard but bundled in expensive "safetey" package... that's annoying....read morehide

Best car for a great price; it is fast, and seems like I am driving a luxury car............

this car is pretty awesome, i am surpise in the performance because 0-60 goes like 5.8 sec and thats pretty fast,and the 05 model looks so much better inside. if you think about it, it still alot better than any same class vehicle

I think this car is the best car I have ever seen in my life; but I am sad to say that I can not buy it. Even though I would like to I can not. When the price go done about five thousand give me a e-mail. My name is Ashley and I am about to be sixteen in October. My guardian keep telling me that I deserve this car but yet she can't buy it for me. Now I have to get a used car which is still good. If I wasn't with her I wouldn't be getting anything. I got the 3.5SE with the manual transmission. The car is very quick. The interior is not as quality as Toyota, but it's not that bad. Get the sunroof, get the 3.5, get the manual trans. Also, I dropped the car 1" with the Eibach Pro-kit, I highly reccomend this as the ride hight of the front is to high in stock form. The car looks and hadles much better now. I've test driven this car but I changed my mind. Bought a 2004 Camry XLE instead. I think everybody was hoping that the 2005 redesigned Altima would include the new style doorknobs. But Nissan just doesn't get it. The 2005 Altima still has the old style pull-up doorknobs. The doorknobs of the Camry and Accord are the new trend in cars. They are the same style of doorknobs you'll find on BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, and other luxury cars....read morehide

this is a car anyone would want to own no matter what the need is, it is comfy and luxurious, and can be sporty with the 3.5 se trim which is a close competitor to the 3.2tl's, rx-8, g35 sedan and many in its class
