Had an 04 Range Rover HSE for 16months . It looked Great but did'nt work very well. from week one , there was always some kind of problem . After about 8 trips back to the dealership enought was enought. and i put out the extra cash for a Turbo. the differance was about $20k and worth every cent!! i've had it for 8 months and havd never seen the service dept at the dealership. within the next few weeks i'll hit the 10k mile mark and meet the service mgr for the frist time. you hear all the bad stories about Rovers there true ! the Porsche cost more , but having the best always does ....read morehide

this is my tenth porsche. i currently drive a 04 c4s and now a cayenne s.
the cayenne is a "heavy" driver with lots of power and great handling. once you point this car and step on the gas you know you're driving a porsche. where it's different however is the fit and finish. it's the best porsche build ever. it competes with mercedes and bmw. those of us who are true porsche folks have always "tolerated" minimal comforts/extras when it came to the intreior and finish. Porsche got it dead on this time.
The car is very sensitive to the tire package wheel combination. My S has a slight (key word slight) vibration between 70-80 mph. The hunter tire machine shows road force to be high on three wheels and flat out bad on a fourth. The tire has to be replaced. The suspension on this car tells all. Drive the car you are going to buy... not the demo. This problem is posted all over and varies with the wheels.
Drive it... it's a great sports car disguised as an suv....read morehide

Love this car - traded in my BMW X5 after owning it only 5 months because it handled so stiffly I got tired driving it! The porsche is awesome -- the remote entry is a bit temperamental -- however the rest is perfect. Niello Porsche in Sacramento is a great dealership to work with -- and I tell my husband every day he better be really nice to me with all the offers I am now receiving while driving this car!...read morehide

It's a great car to drive except for the glitches with the remote key which is not working well and the lack of a spare tire.

So far so good...with Capitals on the SO GOOD! Its a dream so far, handles like our old Porsche from the past, and feels strong and solid in performance. I have the V6, and wish I had the money for the S. But this car is powerful and can tow 7000 lbs. Rated best off road too, which I won't be doing much of. Its a dream to drive. Do the comparisons....hard decision for us, but a good deal put us in the best suv in its class. I have had 2 other ones and this is as sweet as it can get. I understand the 03 had some bugs...hope they are all out. no problems yet!...read morehide
