i bought mine as a show vehicle, totally customized with flames.for almost 22 cu. feet of room and 800 pounds cargo capability, not to mention,xb designed to be a inner city commute vehicle.1.5 vvti,double overhead cam,5 speed.cold air fuel system.33-38 mpg.runs high rpm as standard for highway cruising.well thought out for options.i did my research first.good quality vehicle.replacement prices for parts are standard toyota high priced! plenty of interior room and good for cruising in. just the basics in the vehicle but a few other dealer options came with it so if you read this, dont shoot down this vehicle as honestly if you check this vehicle out you will find it has the basics and easy to see and read and just what you need. warning! for some strange reason many windsheilds seem to crack right at the top in the middle so it is advised to keep factory 15 inch wheels and GOOD shock absorbers on this vehicle. it is worth its money as long as you take care of it. only takes 3 wrenches to tear down the vehicle. really thats all it takes, amazing ! for a everyday cruiser, not bad at all! but after the 2008 xb came out only 22-28 mpg. xb's sell better in the south than the north part of the country.its sad that US automakers did not come out with this first! dont laugh at this, go drive one first and see if what i tell you is true or not ! enjoy!...read morehide

My car has all the gadgets it could possible have and I love it, recommend it to all, what a hellof an eye catcher. Thundercloud what a gteat name for a color of my car. I only wish they painted in Fire engine red, maybe some year they will.

Its a great car. Must see and drive. 5 speed is a must. I love it and wouldnt change it for anything.

I just got mine and I love it.Its not fast but it has good exceleration It will cruse at 85 no problem and I got 37mpg on the first tank.Only complaint is they don't offer cruse control.Some people don't like it they want to look like everyone else on the road.It's a great car looks cool has a good quiet ride.Cant beat it for the price and interior room....read morehide

I love this car, and I can see a lot of looks as others pass me on the freeway. It's cool to have a lot of other drivers wave at me, too, but I noticed that most of the people who wave have only one finger. Pretty odd. Anyway, it's the only car that I ever drove that I can "floor it" and it never (and I mean never) reaches redline, which I think helps give it a high gas mileage. Also, I think the gas mileage is good because it has a very low road-drag coefficient, being that the tires are only three inches wide. I also like that I sit tall, but I think that the higher center-of-gravity was the thing that made me flip the car when I turned into my driveway. :( But my wife came out and helped me flip it back onto its three-inch tires. (I think tomorrow I will get the dealer-option decals pasted on the sides to camouflage the scratch and dent marks.)

Also, to all the haters who can't spell and are hopeless with the english grammar, please reconcider your stance on this car -- it might not be as cool as your spotty-painted and rusted Camaros and your greasy trucker hats, but it's better than your toothless look when you laugh as you pass it on the freeway. But if you must laugh, please don't open your gingivitis-mouth so wide as we can smell your bad breath from three lanes over.

Also, for those here who reviewed the xB negatively (and without even a test drive) -- if you don't have a high-school education, you at least have spell-check on your computer. Please try it.

Love those last two reviews. BTW..arent you late for the tractors pulls Billy Bob? Anyway...this is a great vehicle if you like the looks. You either love it or hate it. I personaly am secure in my manhood enough to drive it and whats more, enjoy it. Plenty of room. Funky looks. GREAT Toyota reliabiity that will keep it on the road LONG after that Hummer has broken down into the piece of excrement ( think rednneck pie ) that it is. Lots of options to outfit it the way you want. Great MPG. god warranty if you ever would need it. Do yourself the favor and test drive one. SCION XB LOOKS LIKE UGLY. I DON'T THINK I WILL BUY ONE. BUY SATURN LS WAGON OR MADZA 3 (5 DOORS).

I recently purchase my XB and I absolutely love it. A few of my friens hated it when I first got it, that is until thay rode in it, and a few are talking about getting a Scion now! Great gas mileage! For the haters that don't like the looks, DON"T BUY ONE!

I'm blown away that people actually write a review and don't or have never owned or even driven one. Seems as if all who own love and all who hate the looks dis it without any reason other than looks.
