I brought a cheap Suzuki forenza for nea $12,000 in Feb'04 . The first week I took back my car to the dealership B'coz the engine light went on, the dealership said they could not figure out why.
My steering popped and it was unsafe fr the car to be driven . Man I had lots of problems With that car. I realised my biggest mistake of buying that car ........ I would be better off if I had brought a corrola instaead.
I tried to trade it but the value was only $5500 i lost abt $7000 in 8 months. I regret buying it. My opinion say no for a Forenza....read morehide

Car is very good for the price the best deal I have seen for features you get, My car is cobalt blue looks very sharp, has aluminum alloy wheels, power sunroof, foglights, very nice audio system for a economy car, very good gas mileage. I have 12,000 miles on it in 2 months and no problems ever, I replaced a fog light, well actually the dealer warrantied it so its great, free oil changes is great for the first 3 years, as well as the best warranty by far.
Worst thing about the car is the parts are expennsive, I hit the curb and a rim is $355 each wow for a stock rim... but overall a great car. Deffinatly buy one if your looking for something nice to drive. I have headlight upgrades and run synthetic oil in it for the purpose of its better for a new engine, and it saves you gas money....read morehide

After weeks of deliberating on which car to get, I've made one of the smartest moves by getting a Suzuki Forenza. At the price, everything about the car just wraps up so good around the whole styling. It has everything I want and could ever wish for at the more-than-reasonable price. I got the S trim (base model) with A/T. It has everything from power windows and locks, heated mirrors, CD player, the redundant radio controls on the steering wheel, remote trunk lid opener, 60/40 split folding seats, spacious trunk and oversized cabin. Even my 6-foot tall friends find the backseats more than enough. It has more room than Camry and Civic without making it look huge from the outside. The handling is great, as long as you don't rice it up and pretend you're racing. It wasn't meant for that anyway. Starting from a full stop is challenging at first but my previous car was for racing anyway. While cruising, the speed-sensitive power assisted steering is very helpful. The Italian-designed interior is the best part for me, just well laid out with the cool silver accents. All in all, can't-ask-for-anything-more-at-this-excellent-well-packaged-car....read morehide

I just purchased a 04 forenza lx,
it handles well and has plenty of power for a 4 cyl engine, There is plenty of passenger room 5 people
can fit comfortably. There is a hold mode for the tranmission which I havent tried yet, but it is supposed to hold the car in a particular gear range for added traction in snow and ice. Gas milage is good 22-30 mpg
Overall I compared this car agaist simular models and makes, for the
price with suzuki incentives this
car basicaly matches other makes.
For The $15999 going price,on the
lx model. Also Suzuki offers the
7year 100,000 mile warrenty which is
great it also comes with roadside assistance towing and rental cars.
As for the details on the lx its
power everything keyless entry ,
a 8 speaker sterio system w/cassete player and cd player with sterio cotrols built into the steering
wheel. also a moonroof the rear seats
fold down for added space. also plenty of trunk room wit a escape cord in case a child gets into the trunk unoticed. If any one has one of these
let me know what you think.

No other compact sedan looks this good inside and out, and has so many standard equipments at such good price. LX model spoils you with a sunroof and alloy wheels adding sportier look, plus a useful cruise control and a remote keyless entry with remote trunk release. This car has a roomy, comfortable cabin for both front and rear passenger. Quiet at any speed with no wind noise, and well isolated from the outside sounds, unless you decide to turn the volume up directly from the integrated steering wheel stereo controls, with the 8-speakers stereo and enjoy the great sound system loudly. Its 126hp engine produces adequate power for its solid body frame to cruise at 90mph easily, but few more horse power would be nice, which may also improve its gas mileage that is only acceptable. You will love to show this car to your friends and co-workers, that not too many other compact sedan owners would do proudly try it and bring your own favorite CD to the test drive with you then you will see!...read morehide

I just bought '04 Suzuki Forenza last weekend and love it. I'm happy with the price, the standard equip and the handling.
I compared with Hyundai Elantra and Kia Spectra but I chose Suzuki.

Everything you want or even don't want is equipped with this car at a great price. LX model is loaded and it costs as low as a base mode Civic. Stylish look, both in and out. Roomy passenger cabin and trunk. Perfect!

I have owned my Forenza for a little over a month and a half, I can honestly say that could not be happier with my buying choice. I had to decide between the Kia Specta and the Suzuki...it was a hard decision at first because I had already owned a Kia and they offer some really good owner loyalty offers....but I could not turn down the Forenza's style and extras. Kia does not come with sun roofs, and they charge close to two thousand dollars to put in after factory, not to mention that messes with the warranty (found that out the hard way)
It was a very clear decision for me once I test drove this car.....nothing else in its price range can touch it....not to mention the eight speakers....that was a major extra....read morehide

I test drove this car yesterday. The handling is good, it run smoth comparable to small size in the market, the price is really reasonable, my only concern is that the availability of the parts and the price of it. I hope it is not expensive.
