tranny feeling a little slipping

I love it ! . the white diamond exterior color and my chrome polish 23's jordan shoes look awsome. you know what i mean bling bling baby!
and i love the armor body look of the 2005 and people have respect for you on the highway the small cars don't cut you off. but hate the grill it looks cheap and plastic .
i love that it has a big mouth grill look but it don't look proud it needs that muscle luxory phantom chrome smile.
not the hey do i look like the mouth that wants to be a mercedes mouth !a chrome smile just like the navigator but thicker chrome, it has to stand out defeating the navigator smile like "move out of my way look !or" i'm too good for you to be in front of me look" or yeah thats right i got some VIP People in this armor royal coach" aint it ashame that the Armada suv has more front chrome then Escalade!" 'who's designing the front face luxory
i love the smooth limousine feeling but Hate the tranny at times... i do feel the tranny sorta slipping at 30k miles and that right there i hate cause if i'm at a steep hill and i can't make it to the top in the middle of a cold night with my kids . then i will never buy another armor royal coach. intil they fix that issue of tranny problems. other wise i feel like a rich important well to do guy on the high way with majority of people eyes lurking into your window like we were famous or something. i never had this much attention all my life i had luxory and sporty cars and this 2005 Escalade rules all . the next luxory Escalade should have VIP instead of ESV . me and my wife was going to get a hummer but i see the horsepower tops the hummer which was shocking to me but the worry of the tranny im really haten cause what is the point of saying the scalade has the top horsepower but your tranny makes it look cheap once i had a vechical with only 70k miles and the tranny gave up and i was stuck trying to climb the hill with my kids crying think we were going to die cause are car was rolling back into traffic . so we change our mind and we are debating on a black raven 2006 plat or a 2007 black raven . i love the body of the 2006 but would love to see the rear back hatch have the center chrome piece like the 2007 and please change the front grill that 2007 is too expedition and lexus futuristic looking it lost the luxory armor muscle look something like the navigator grill tops all suv grills. i heard the escalade 2007 has a fuel saver called the active fuel management. once called the displacement on demand . which when going down hill it drops down to 4 cyl and highway it drops to 6 cyl. if its true then me and my wife is going to have a battle . i wish that the 2006 had that to offer too! but other wise bring back the 2006 body with the same chromes that the 2007 has and change the grill like more like the limo beefy look like the navigator but thicker vertical grills. and the horsepower of the 2007 then i will be the first to buy. oh my wife says the face of the dash looks cheap for that amount if your going luxory then go luxory in and out . for that price she say she see cheap cars that have better front dash face. like the cross fires have a better look cause the Escalade dash face looks stock and cheap. people tell her that all the time nice exspensive car but a cheap looking front face that make your cd radio and tacks guages look Cheap. and thats what you really focus on when you sit in front how could you bare to stare she wants that luxory look not the cheap looking ( pushing issue for wife )...read morehide

Excellent vehicle. For the size of the vehicle it easy to drive and manuever. Fully of luxuries.

Only luxuriy missing is a remote start.

This vehicle is absolutely gorgeous and extremely comfortable. For such a large vehicle it is easy to drive and manuever in and out of parking spaces even parallel parking. I am truly satisfied with this vehicle and I would recommend it to anyone that would be interested in purchasing it, and would buy another one without thinking twice....read morehide

I have had it 5 months. I am disgusted.

First there is a knocking noise in the steering wheel. Waited at the dealership for 3 and a half hours to get it fixed. Now it is much worse. It was outside during severe weather. I got in it and water from the storm poured out of the vents. The headliner was soaked to the touch. The water would pour out of it when you ran your fingers over it. I showed the dealership pictures, even called Cadillac directly. They had someone fly in to look at it. They said it doesn't leak anymore and replaced the headliner. A $60,000+ vehicle and that is what all they are doing? I will never ever buy, lease, or rent another Cadillac product for the rest of my life. I would highly recommend you think before you decide on Cadillac. This was supposed to be my dream car, it is more like a nightmare. Maybe Ford would want a new client....read morehide

Very nice ride, Air suspension keeps the car level at all times. Looks great many options and sounds amazing.

Im in the military, brought my vehicle to Italy and man...every where you go, park beside a brand new MB 550, British made land rovers and cayennes in Monaco, sure this vehicle was a head turner.
Power is ok, though we all know in Europe they always mean the speed in autostrada, but my 13" tv on the back seat made every one honk got envy on what were my kids watching while I do the driving and wife playing internet on the laptop...see, you do not need the speed to go to a certain place, all you need is the comfort and neccesities... with style.
Wish I could sell this vehicle here in europe due to the fact that the Euro-Dollar equivelancy, a couple of rich swedish and italians asking me if I am going to sell my Vehicle(and get another qwhen back in US of A) the all wheel drive is great on the Alps during winter time, and
this vehicle is not only for rich people, but also for enlisted military perosonnel who got good credit and nice SRB. Good Job GM, wish you guys also do the warranty outside US...read morehide

I do not like this car. Big, clunky, ugly SUV. Seems like the only point in having one is to show off to the rest of the world. There are better cars out there for this price.

The gas economy has never been as effecient as I'd like it to be. Overall, not just because of the mileage it gets but among other reasons, I would never purchase an Escalade again, and I recommend that you do the same. Stay away from these cars.

all i can say about the caddilac is "wow" now if god owned a car im pretty sure it would have to be a caddilac!!!!!
