I thought this was a cheap way to get a nice looking car. I have had this car for about a year and it is ok. I like how it looks, but I've had several problems. Randomly, my radio will lock and not turn on when I turn the car on. Also, after having the air bag recall fixed my air bag light would come on all the time. I had to take it to the dealer three times before they could fix it. Also, there is a lot of wind noise and rattling while driving which gets kind of annoying. Just recently my key has been getting stuck in the ignition when I turn off the car, I'm thinking I might have to take it in again...can't wait to trade this in!...read morehide

Chevy made this when they still had some hope. So they created a car with a stroke of genius. Looked at the newer '06 ls coupe - depressing. The Chevy folk took a good looking sexy fuel efficient car and made it ugly and pedestrian. Moral of the story: Get the '05 ls coupe and laugh at depressed '06 ls coupe owners (who are sad that their car is uglier) and laugh at those trendy Ford Mustang owners (who spent too much for their car, and who spend too much on gas.) The '06 Honda Accord is nice, but this is the better value....read morehide

I had the car 5 days and had to put it in the shop because the brake light, abs light and traction light were all on... only to find out it was because I need a new ABS system on a brand new $18K car. One month later the other side blew out. The car has been in the shop 5 times in the 6 months I've had the car. If you see the brake light on, don't let anyone tell you it's just a computer error... the car really needs its breaks replaced. As a first time Chevy buy I am highly disappointed....read morehide

I bought my car in July 2005 because of the employee discount. I was trying to decide between a Cobalt, Scion, or Corolla. The Cobalt was an obvious answer after the test drive. This car is really quiet even on the freeway.
After having the car 6 months already, I have loved everything about it. The gas mileage is great and an oil change every 6500 miles is very nice and easy to handle.
The seats seem stiff at first but you'll discover after sitting for 30 minutes that they are really comfortable. They have improved my posture while driving.
Go Chevy!!...read morehide

Overall not a bad overall the traction could be alot better, the leather seats wear fast and easy. Nice ride for looks. I think they should of made it faster because of the competion in the four cylinder engine group. Not bad at all!

I bought this car and at 31 miles the steering column had to be replaced. Then i was drivin and my power steering went out so i took it in for service and they said its the "nature of the beast" and basically its my problem so i have to deal with it. I talked to a mechanic and he told me they need a bigger pump and it heats up to easily. So the other day i was driving on a back road and it went out and i hit a tree because i couldnt steer my car plus the air bags didnt even deploy. So luckily i wasnt hurt bad and nooone else was and that it didnt happen on an interstate. So if i was you and looking at this car i would not buy this unless you are a daredevil and like risking your life....read morehide
