Upon introduction, the LS is equipped with a standard 3.4-liter, V6, 180-horsepower engine that achieves 21-mpg in the city and 32-mpg on the highway. The SS Supercharged is equipped with a standard 3.8-liter, V6, 240-horsepower, supercharged engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
