Visually stunning, auditorially stunning, a blast to drive!

Cons

Minimal interior storage, "lots" of road feel, high ride height for cornering.

I got this as a surprise 50th birthday present. I kept saying "This isn't my car!"

I was SOOO wrong. It IS my car/truck/roadster! I pushed the button and the top goes down in 22 seconds. This is an excellent "comb over" car if you like your hair straight back! (Although there is very little wind buffeting.)

400 HP to spare, awesome 6-speed transmission, great tires and very good brakes. Might look into different shocks to smooth the ride.

Some interior noise are leather or seal squeaks, easily dressed out. I wish it had XM-ready radio, but the Bose system is very good. Coin drawer hits my knee...

But there are few built, and fewer driven daily. Everyone looks and most smile toothy grins... though not as big as mine!

I call my Pacific Blue SSR "Babe" after Paul Bunyon's big blue ox. A very fitting nickname....read morehide

doesn't get 30mpg.....after owning it....who cares!

This is the power roadster that Foose or Boyd Coddintom wouldhave loved to have built....and if they had it would untouchable for the average professional guy.......well, i feel fortunate to be able to own and drive such an awesome custom roadster!.....my hats off to chevy!

The SSR is a very powerful truck, but is it really a truck? No, its a modified Chevy S-10, with a vette engine it. I have only seen a few on the road and I understand why. The price of this car leaves you with a tough decision. You end up asking yourself, should I buy this or spend a little more and get the real vette? Sorry to offend anyone who loves this car, but I feel that Chevrolet wasted a lot of time and money developing this car or truck, whatever it is....read morehide

decent power, great look, when top is down-don't get excessive air flow / wind, Fuel milage good

have a 6 speed shifter boot-makes rattle noise, leaks around side windows, miss thermometer compass

We'd like to see the higher special horsepower ZO Corvette engine offered in the SSR. Also, in early SSR photos there was a cross bar trim on the tailgate and rear lamps area that passed across the bow tie gate emblem position. We think it should be offered as standard trim or as an extra.

It's a roadster so the room and ride is what you would expect but nothing for the money can touch it and nothing will afford you more looks. The 6.0 is a dream and for a truck the mileage is not bad with 19/20 on the highway. The hard top convertable is fantastic and the seat's offer great support. in traffic heats up 20 degrees, needs more air, only 2500 miles should get better

The greatest top, high speed very safe, brakes good, corners good, expensive but worth every penny, its a keeper

Seats are a little hard and, yes, its tight...but you expect that in a roadster.

Everyone sees me coming and going and I dont mind that. If youre trying NOT to be recognized, dont ride with me. Great pick-up, handles very well and gets a respectable 17.5 MPG.

I love the "curb appeal" Great sounds. Roadster qualities. This is a no price, no comparison automobile. Nothing else is like it. I drove this machine for one weekend. "King of the Hill" comes to mind when I drove up in my hood. I rallly love this rig. would drive it as a daily driver if I could afford it.
