American Car Companies just don't get it
especially Daimler-Chrysler. They pioneered the Minivan with Lee Iacocca at the helm back in 1984. This company has now floundered with Mercedes calling the shots.

Their quality control has further slipped. Their new 2005 Long Wheel- base Minivans were just recalled last week.

They tout their new folding flat second row seating. They were the last Minivans to have the third row flat folding seat

They have lost sales to Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna because these Minivans have top notch quality and higher resale value. In addition,the two above mentioned Minivans won't rapidly depreciate. Just check Kelly Blue Book on that.

My favorite issue of Consumer Report's is the April Auto Issue. They are unbiased in their testing.
