Very fair on fuel econ, reasonably good pick up and go, good pwr on hills

visibility while backing up, getting used to 4 wheel disc brakes

I also own a 94 aerostar w/3.0L engine(217k mi). The Freestar runs rings around it (3.9L). I'm VERY impressed with it,and so far, the only thing done to it (6500mi) has been the front rotors replaced. I'm 5'7", and have no difficulties with the vehicle in or out. Very good in Ohio snow I might add....read morehide

Don't even bother with the Freestar, go to a Japanese or Korean dealer for a better car. The Freestar was just redesigned two years ago and already it's technology is obsolete. The Odyssey/Quest/ Sienna are much more well made. Wait for the '06 Sedona, have you seen the preview pics? ... After 3 years the Ford will start to self-destruct....read morehide

Excellent ride, solid construction, 50000 miles and cruises like new, kids love DVD player. Quiet and comfortable. Good on gas surprisingly.

We have had this car just over a month and it is great... The seat goes in to the floor and this is a great feature. The sound system is very good .
Very smooth braking and lots of pep when you need it.

Love the overall fit and finish of the new 05 Freestar. My 2 children ages 8 and 10 love riding the "space shuttle" with automatic doors
and DVD system.

Very pleased with the comfortable ride, and build quality which compares to my previous BMW! (Very surprised) There is nothig I would change on this vehicle except for more color choices. A Forest or Dark Green would be great....read morehide

LOVE IT, I will keep this van until my oldest son can drive it and then I will get another Ford minivan...My son is 7 now so I will keep it for a long time.

fits the family but my truck did get better gas mileage(2000 F150 4X4) 14.5 in town.

VERY POOR GAS MILEAGE. DEWEY FORD in Ankeny Iowa did not stand behind the vehicle.

Room, reasonably comfortable, EXTREMELY POOR GAS MILEAGE. I have been to the dealership a couple of times and complained about the mileage, but the dealer doesn't seem to care.
