It's a great car and has a lot of great features. However, I have the DX Value Package and it didn't come with automatic locks, so I always have to manually let myself in and lean over to open all the doors when I have other people in the car with me. I then have to remind everyone to lock their doors when we get out. I wish I could find a way to get automatic locks installed....read morehide

wind noise for side windows are terrible, not a long trip vehicle

This car is a dependible car and can be driven greatfully inside a city or town. Though driving on a freeway the wind noise is loud and terrible, hears like the windows are open. This car is defiently not the car that i would drive to Vegas, I always rent a car. Over all the car i rate is a 3 out of a 5, but not a car that i would purchase again....read morehide

blind spt for petite person, noisy automatic window

It is very unsafe while changing a lane or entering a freeway for a petite person because of the blind spot. It is hard to see on coming car.

All automatic window would not roll up or down without making noise. Service person could not fix. taken to dealer for the same problem 4 times but still not fixed. dealer won't help...read morehide

Brakes squeals, transmission problems

I bought my '05 Honda Accord in February, 2005. When I took it back in April, 2005 for the breakin oil change, I had a fluid leak. The dealership has tried three times to fix this. They had to finally replace torque seals. The car does not run the same. It jumps sometime when putting it in reverse. I think I bought a lemon. The dealership says it is fixed, but i am going to take it somewhere else to just look at it. This is the thrid Honda I have owned. I think I am going to trade this Honda in for a Toyota Camry....read morehide

after owning it for 3 months, sometimes i hear the brakes squeaks, but that's about it

I've come from a Honda to a Honda, all for one reason, well, actually couple of reasons, hondas are definitely reliable and good for the value, you cannot beat a performance with the prices that honda offer. I often get compliments for my 05 accord EXL. don't listen to people who said that it sucks, probably is because they get it as a second hand which you can never trust. My first car was a civic, and loved that car two, its not about the speed and engine power, its about the all around performance, and Accord definitely fits as the best all-around. I've heard so many people complain about $30,000-$40,000 european cars, well guess what, not many complains about Accord, visit dealers, test drive it, blast the stereos, hit the speed, and feel the ride, you will be thrilled about how car this cheap comes in such an incomparable performance...read morehide

seats like a brick, drives terrible

I don't see why this car always gets such great revues, the paint is cheap and shoddy, doesn't shine, seats are hard and uncomfortable, to the point of not being able to walk after a couple hundred miles in them, It does not drive good either, I had the car for 18 months, and I will never buy another Honda vehicle, My six year old Saab drives and rides a whole lot better....read morehide

Some rattles after it breaks in, no auto-locking, only one auto window, radio needs more juice

Some slight rattles (Most easilly fixed) however the driver door key hole rattles on rough roads and is irritationg (took me forever to figure out that one). The highbeam swich is too sensitive and downshifting is less then smooth. Other than that this car is an awsome buy. The 05 rear end styling is the best (better than the 06 too) and is just an overall sexy car inside and out with great power under the hood. And best of all, its a Honda....read morehide

Many electrical problems after 20k miles, leather wears easily, and interior of car is cheap

I had this car for 1 year, putting 20 thousand miles on it. It broke down at around 23k miles. I took it in and had many problems getting it fixed! Not only did the Honda dealers not fix the problem, they didn't want to. My windows won't work, my stereo shorts out, my heated seats don't work half the time, and the car seems to be falling apart. I am meticulous about my cars. I never eat in them, I change the oil sooner than needed, and I drive them with ease. This car has been nothing but a problem and I am now trying to get rid of it! I recommend spending a little bit more for a Toyota, and getting what you pay for....read morehide
