I lost the uniexhaust and dragged it after the first year, the windows fog up when it rains

This car is great! It is dependable, gas mileage is good, it's a good feeling when you take it in for regular maintance, and they tell you nothing"s wrong. I would recommend this car to those who want dependability.

I would highly reccomend it on a budget, otherwise go with an accord or an RSX.. Sweet car though, I love it!

Just purchased this amazing car after driving costly gased SUVs. The sunroof makes the car feel so free as does the stero system (6 cds at a time). The ride is so impressive for a small car. Having the antenna on the back windshield is a smart idea. Overall, I recommend the Civic EX SE with the sunroof, 6cd player and MP3 stero, and manuel transmission (I will save big time on gas)....read morehide

Mid-grd gas is $1.42 here-I can fill up my tank for $25 for 8 days-I do more then 300 miles a week.

I bought a brand new Honda Civic LX,4 door, 4 speed auto, with pass air bag. It came with everything I wanted. AM FM radio, CD player, power locks, power windows, tilt wheel, cruise, rear seats fold down, AC and vallet key and lock. I got what I think was a good deal. The sticker price was $16,850 and I got it down to $14,995. Not sure if thats a typical thing to get the sticker price down that low but I was happy considering they don't have rebates or cash back. I was accually going to buy a used 2001 with 51,000 miles on it for 11,500 then went some where else, saw another car that I wanted (2004 civic for 14,000) went back for my deposit, they asked why, I told them about the 2004 and they said will sell you a 2005, brand new for less then 1,000 more, so I said "great, I'll buy one" I got to pick any color on the lot, I chose black.
I am happy with the way it looks, runs, I love the blueish lights on the bash, the speakers sound great, to ride is smooth, its roomy for a small car (I have 3 kids) and its great on gas!!! Can't ask for anything more!! Except I would have liked a sunroof but hey, I'm not complaining!! I added on an alarm, hard plastic mud flaps, a trunk liner all for about $450 more then I got talked into getting an extended warrenty and lo jack for $1,200 more. Which I felt presured into the extended warrenty, I did want the lo jack to have my car insurance lowered and it did make a big difference!! Then with taxes, plates, that 550 delivery charge and what ever else, it came to 18,200. That part freaked me out!!!! How it went so high!!!!!!!!!!!

This is My first, 2005 Honda Civic LX 4DR. AT. for the comuter in me, I drive 40 miles to and from work everyday. Compared to my other cars what a change! Fuel wise ETC. It was like Night and Day. Here's a Secret! Coming from previous Honda owners. When pumping gas allways choose PLUS not supreme or regulur but PLUS I don't Know why? but I tryed it with the other grades and WOW they where RIGHT!, but if you pull up to a place that has either regular or supreme ONLY, pick supreme.Also if you look in front of car their is spaces to add fog lights, I recommed that too. Great for night driving and safe visablity especially if you have kids or family riding with you its worth the extra money....read morehide

Bought this car strictly for commuting and running around town when needed and it fulfills that need to a tee. It gives me the power on demand that I need to get in and out of situations. I love the magnesium metallic color.

ride is just ok! not a rocket, but I guess you expect that with only 117hp.

I have only owned this car for a week, but everything seems cool enough with this car. It is stylish enough for the sub-compact category, fairs well with other makes. I bought this car mainly because of honda reputation. I hope it lives up to my expectations.

I sold my 1991 Honda Accord EX with 70,000 just because I wanted a new car. Big mistake. I bought the Civic Sedan EX thinking the mileage advertised would be to my benefit. The Accord had better styling and better gas mileage. If I had owned a Pinto the Civic would be like heaven. I guess they don't make the new hondas like he old Hondas. The car will hold its value and I do like the new car smell. They should offer lumbar adjustable seats in all models. That is what I miss most about the Accord....read morehide
