Best car in its class. Luxury and sport rolled into one. Definite eye catcher. Plenty of options available.

I've had this car for 3 months and I still love comming out and seeing it in the parking lot at work. The motor always has something to give if your going 8 or 80. It's comfortable on trips, and handles like it's on rails. VDC and Traction Control saw me through a Snow Storm I got caught in, she did excellet considering she's RWD and has 280 HP, it never suprised me and was predictiable. The interior has a high quailty fit and finish and a great improvement over the '04. Trunk space is a little tight but if you pack carefully you can get 2 people and a weeks worth of luggage in there. The V6 gets around 22 in the city with a light foot, and on my one long trip it managed 25 mpg. It has a great sound a little loud at idle but quites down when your up to speed. It's a great touring car for 2 people. Mine is Ivory Pearl and makes it look classy and sharp more than boy racer. Plus I haven't met an Ivory one on the road yet. The stereo has a rich bass and doesn't distort in the outer limits. The car is so slick in the wind with the sunroof open it doesn't buffer much even without the deflector. My only one complaint is the dip stick. I know it's a Nissan and it will never leak or burn oil but since it's new I keep an eye on it and trying to feed the stick down into a Horizontal tube is tough. My only one true complaint. Well that an no gas props for the hood on a 35k car. Probably most owners don't ever pop the hood to see that beatiful work of art is under there. My favorite design feature are the LED tail lights and the Analog clock at night. I can't tell time on a digtal clock anymore. Test drove the Mazda RX-8, 6, 3, Scion tC, Honda Accord, BMW 325i, Mercedes C230, Subaru Legacy GT, and Mustang GT. I kept comming back to the G35 though for the looks, power and the over all feel the car has. Even in the 3rd year of design its still looks fresh and will age very well I think. If you want a coupe and like some luxury, I would highly recommend this to anyone shopping....read morehide

It's been 6 months and I'm still in love! I can't get over this car. At first I was afraid of the gas mileage. After driving it for about 6 months, the mileage is actually better than what they advertise. Infiniti, you may want to correct this little glitch. I get approximately 22 city, 27 hwy. and this is when I do a little bit of fun and leave my dust for all the other cars to eat when it's safe to speed at freeway entrances. The gas pedal is still very touchy and so are the brakes. That's just a statement, not a complaint.
Get the "clear bra" which I'm getting next week. The stunning paint job gets ding with little pebbles from the road. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of people try to race me, which is not worth my premium gas price. And a lot of people try to cut me off when I'm driving the speed limit or try to get me into an accident. Must be jealousy.
I've seen pictures of the 2007 G35 and It's sexier! I may just get myself another one later this year....read morehide

I reseached for a long time to replace my aging BMW. My wife and I have a Honda Pilot as the primary family vehicle so we decided that the second car, which would replace the BMW, didn't have to be that practical. I knew that the Nissan 350Z was a highly rated car but needed back seats for the kids and the occasional passenger. We looked at its' corporate twin the G35 coupe. We test drove the Infiniti and were impressed with the powerful engine and how well the car handled. The special finance rate as well as the negotiated price the dealer was giving us on an '05 coupe closed the deal. So far we have had the G35 coupe for about 2 weeks and couldn't be happier. I drove the car in one significant snowfall (about 4 to 5 inches) and realized that car could use a set of dedicated snow tires to improve on its' winter handling. All in all we are quite pleased with our purchase and would recommend this car be given serious consideration for those who think that performance in a car must be German!!!...read morehide

I have driven my infinity g35 sportcoupe. for a couple weeks now. I own a couple 510's. a maxima and I have driven every car out there. I sell cars. The infinity drives beautifully and is not a altima. But rather a classier version of the 350z. The idiot who wrote the car is slow. oblivously cannot drive. When I bury the pedal I eat M3's and porsche 911 turbos. The reason the idiot said it pulls to the right is called low end torque. I love the car. And I'm a carguys car guy. Much love Dennis At Nissan....read morehide

Infiniti present us a nice power, elegance, comfort&convenient sportscar. But just like a versatile person, what skill is above all? It's a big lesson.
Oh,there's another thing. Can you(Infiniti) replace these switch&buttons? It looks not good enough.

This 6 speed transmission must have been designed by a rookie engineer as there is far to much end float on the input shaft & this is why its so noisy.Infiniti refuse to rectify the problem. They changed the design for the 2005.Interesting I guess they didnt want to own up that there was a problem.Terrible company to deal with for warranty I will not buy another one because of the lack of customer service...read morehide

Have had mine for 3 days, and I am in love with it. After waiting for 2 years to buy it, I cannot believe I own one. Didn't even test drive it, just walked in bought it off the showroom floor, and now I am thrilled. In the past 3 days, I have had 4 different people tell me how beautiful the car looked, and what a classy ride. Inside, you just feel wonderful driving it around. Definitely need to buy the Premium Package and the Sport-tuned Package. The spoked wheels make a huge difference in handling and looks, so does the rear spoiler, but hey, that's just me. Also, might want to start a savings account, since new tires will run you about $1400, but well worth the experience. If you are thinking about it, just buy one....read morehide

This car is a real head-turner. There is a lot of class to the nicely designed features of this sleek, sophisticated looking sports car. Older people can easily drive this without feeling (or appearing) as if they are trying to recapture their youth. It has all of the comforts and style of a nicely appointed sedan rolled up into one very chic sports coupe. I stay busy socially and this car makes great entrances or exits to any function! It is a sexy, glamorous vehicle that is a lot of fun to drive.
You may want to stay away from buying any sports car that is designed low to the ground (careful with bumps and parking near curbs!),with limited trunk space, tiny rear seating, and a somewhat rough ride. All typical elements found in any of the sports car designs. If these aspects do not apeal to you, consider the G-35 sedan, another gorgeous vehicle by Infiniti!...read morehide
