NICE RIDE, REAR VIEW MIRRORS TILT DOWN - LOVED IT

WE WERE VERY SURPRISED. LOVED IT, WE HAD RENTED IT. HOPED THERE WAS A NEW ONE FOR 2006. VERY DISSAPPOINTED THERE WAS NOT A NEW ONE OUT!!

Confort and apparience are excellent
Kia service and guarantee are excellent.
Security in teh road is also a gerat value for the car

Nice interior, comfortable drivers seat, GPS, good sized trunk that can handle two golf bags & more

Could accelerate better; brake pedal to close to gas pedal

Much more interior room than people expect. Comfortable seats and plenty of storage space. Had driven Chrysler products since 1972 but this car is better equipped for less money.

I bought an Amanti while waiting for the new Toyata XLS to hit the showrooms. Body style had not changed and then I saw Amanti on dealers lot. I thought it was a new model Mercedes of some sort. Was very surprised at the price, have had compliment after compliment about the style and the over all profile of the car. Plenty of acceleration but at times front end seems to " float". a great value for the price, oustanding comfort and a very quiet ride. Lots of creature comforts. It's fun watching people try to figure out if it is a Mercedes or a Jaguar! Above-average safety features and lots of interior room makes it a great touring car!

a GPS would be great,

We tested 7 cars,from the Lexus to Caddie to Jags and Buicks .We have owned Town cars and Caddies and Olds.
The initial test drive and interior of the Amanti convinced us that it was the best value for the money but also the best in features.I research a car in depth before purchasing and all the data led to our decision to purchase it.It's noise level rating at idle and at 70 m/h is the quietest of ANY car.It's ride very comfortable and very good seat suport.
The car still enjoys the luxury of strangers asking what make is it and on how beautiful it is inside.
I maintain a log book of data on the car as my engineering background is used to it.The car is capable of getting 21 in town and 32 on the highway (with A/C on) if not driven agressively.Most people driving a car of this stature drive consertively.If you stay below 72 m/h and are not in the mountain area of the country you can expect 28 to 30 m/g .These mileages are with regular gas and using the A/C.
We travel from Fl to Canada on vacations each year and the car is a dream on the highway.We live in Fl so flat land driving helps m/g but the A/C effects all cars mileage.Drive properly and you are the winner in the high price gas era.

The odometer now reads 24,200 miles and needs no repairs.
It so far is the best car we have ever owned.

Car is Luxury, good looking, but still it remains as a Korean Car. Car does not really last long, but it is ok, though I prefer American and European cars. I own a Jaguar S Type, and a Chrysler 300C, both are better than the Amanti. I test drived the Amanti and I found that my Jaguar S Type and my Chrysler 300C are really better....read morehide

Mileage could be improved. Would like to get 20 city and around 30 hwy.

This car was excellently engineered. It is a very safe vehicle. There is plenty of leg room and I am 6'2" There is plenty of head room. Acceleration is just wonderful. Smoothness of engine is impressive. Of course, they put their money where their mouth is in terms of warranty and after care....read morehide
