Hard to find after market upgrades, BAD HORSEPOWER!!! bad fuel economy

Truck makes some strange noises from the transmission when shifting, some strange noises when started up. also rattles a little when going up hill. it is almost IMPOSIBLE to find aftermarket upgrades for this truck! its extremley frustrating when you spend money on ford ranger parts and they dont fit!...read morehide

Rusty V6, cheap touches/materials inside and out, plus cab has no room for 4/5 persons

Another normal pickup that has no power, quality, or space. Just not up to the competitors in any aspect.

I have a 2002 model. The I bought Mazda because of the lower price and the accessory package came with everything included. I didn't have to pay extra for the fog lights or disc brakes.

In retrospect, I should a have either a Toyota or Chevy 4x4.

5 speed auto trans takes some getting used to. poor gas milage.

The 3.0 litre could be punched up a little, needs another 25 horses and better fuel economy. Ive noticed a clunking sound in the transmission or u joint at low speeds but not to frequently. I purchased this 04 model new so i have a warranty if the problem persist. -- not the most comfortable truck I've owned, makes my hip hurt even on short trips.-- I like the factory stereo and Cd player quite abit and eyerything else is quite accessible from the fog lights to the windsheild wipers.-- The ride is a little stiff but ok overall. Fit and finish are well done and I don't feel as though I'm driving something cheap-- I'd consider another one in a couple of years....read morehide
