The Aztek is truly a "great vehicle"; one of the first "Crossover-SUV's". It is grossly underrated and critcized by the press. The Aztek blazed new territory, yet was scorned. The Honda Element and the Scion Xb didn't get their asses handed to them by the "experts", yet they are no less "ugly" than the Aztek. I guess because they are imports, they can't be criticized. Sure it's funky looking, but that's also one of the biggest reasons for its appeal. Actually, the rear view is the only angle that isn't the best. So anyway, the Aztek is actually a great vehicle. It does exactly what Pontiac said it will do. I have the AWD model and love it. Pontiac touted the Aztek as an "SRV" ("Crossover" wasn't coined yet). They never said it was a true SUV. Yet, all the experts keep griping about (besides it's stying) is that the Aztek is not a real SUV with off-road capability. Wow, really? Already new that! Compared to most vehicles, it is fantastic in snow, wet roads, mud, gravel or any slippery surface. And 7" of ground clearance, though not great, is better than most non-SUV vehicles. The handling and performance is really good. Interior room and comfort is great. And cargo room/utility is fantastic. The tow pkg adds even more versatilty. I love this vehicle and I've owned 3 SUV's (Montero, Bronco & Expedition) prior to buying it. Listen to owner reviews, not the so-called experts. Or just drive one yourself and make your own decision. Too bad Pontiac ended production in 2005....read morehide

Exterior looks are lacking but once you get inside it's all up hill. Comfortable ride and very versitale. If you can keep it out of the garage it would be a wonderful vehicle.

This truck is a great investment. it looks great handles like a sedan and picks up like a sports sedan yet it can go off road. I recomend this truck for anyone.

When you push the brake to slow down, it will squick. Everytime you slow down, the longer you push the brake the longer the squick noise stay. It is very annoying.

I love my 2003 Aztek, strange looking and all. It handles the road great, and handles great in all types of weather. When driving I feel like I'm up there with the big boys it's so high up. The music system is just great, (CD, Cassette, AM-FM Radio).

I bought my 2003 Aztek new and brought it home in a snow storm. I like almost every thing about it. The all wheel drive is reasuring. It has a smooth ride. Breaking and steering are above average.
The back window should have a wiper. The drawer in the cargo space is very handy.
I like the size for the price. I wish, however, that GM would publicize it more. I hear they will not make them in 2006. The trade in value is laughable......I'll be driving mine for a few more years....read morehide
