I cannot purchase another Toyota. At 28,000 miles 2 tires went bad. The dealership did nothing other than say Toyota puts "weak" tires on the new vehicles. Just as my van passed 36,000 miles (at about 39 months) the rear heater would not work. $500 later it did. Toyota nor the dealership stepped up to cover any of it (essentially told since I had not had service work done at the dealership they had no incentive to do anything for me). Then, the battery died at 37,000 miles. I have a 12 year old Nissan Altima that is in impeccable condition and aside from standard maintenance, has not provided any problems. I've owned 9 vehicles in my life. This has been the worst experience by far for what I paid....read morehide

We have only 17,500 miles on our car and recently noticed the tires were balding. When brought in to the dealership they claim that it was entirely our fault due to low air pressure in the tires. When we questioned them about the low pressure sensor guage they claim that it will only alert us if "one" tire is low in air; not when all four are low in air pressure. I found this to be disingenuous and am apalled to find that they insist we purchase the same, four tires at a cost of $1,500! Furthermore, it's not covered under the extended warranty even though the low pressure sensor is clearly defective, or the tires are defective. My guess is both and we are soon to see a recall on these two items.
If anyone has similar woes please feel free to respond - I intend to fight this one!...read morehide

I am not a minivan Mom-with 3 kids and no longer able or want to afford to drive an expedition, I owned a car for 4 months-almost went out of my mind. I took a friends advice and drove the Sienna-held off two months before making the final purchase-I am now converted, why would a busy mom own anything else!! Luxury is better than the Jaquar(I owned), kids are excited about going out to do errands. Hope to own this till my oldest goes off to college. Better than an SUV!!! Stayed away from the AWD do to run-flats-FWD w/ traction control is all you need in a heavy snow. Just as good if not better than SUV....read morehide

I have only owned my Honda Odessy for two short months and already the brakes are grinding. I think that the pads are bad and can only hope that I haven't scratched a roter. Two months. I had purchased the extended warrenty where if something goes wrong I am provided with a replacement car for the duration of repairs. NOT! Seems the brakes are not covered and I was informed that it is a manufactor's defect and a car is not provided for problems stemming from the factory. We thought we were buying the name when we bought a Honda. I miss my GMC. It handled much better, was more comfortable and the brakes lasted a whole hell of a lot longer. This is insane. Wish I could just get my money back. All the excitement that we originally felt after buying a brand new car is gone and we are left with nothing but regret. First Honda - last Honda....read morehide

smooth ride and nice design and tons of room to ride around. but the run flat tires are a little problem.

Have owned the Siena for 5 months. Based on all the comments I saw here, I stayed away from the run-flat tires and it still seems to be the right decision. Have not had a problem getting up hills this winter with the front wheel drive.
Excellent van. Wife and kids get in and out very easy and it holds all the stuff we could possibly need for a family weekend get-away. Even great when we have to pack up the neighbors kids too. Would highly recomend this van.

I have driven a handful of newer version minivans and there is only one other brand that comes comparable to it, but the price difference? enough to bore some holes in our pocket... We are very satisfied with our Sienna, it is a totally comfortable minivan - the seats, the interior lay-out and ease of driving? gee, it makes us yearn for long drives to the countryside....read morehide
