Snow Driving

I've a 2002 Acura RSX 160HP, 102K miles, great car, no problems (Except for oil Changes, brakes and tire changes). Gets mileage of 27 - 28 in city and 34 - 36 in HWY. No complaints as of yet, but for tough snow driving in MI weather. Never took it to a dealer (Except once for headlights replacement). i dont have an 06 i have a 04 type s and its the best car i have ever had!! i upgraded mine its got around 230 hp put cold air intake in header exhaust sport clutch tweaked engine a lil bit a mesh grill in the front looks nice and its really fast and loud everyone loves my car they always wanna be in it i love the way it takes cuves i call it my rice rocket i do about 0-60 in some 5 seconds maybe less who knows its really fast i love this car...read morehide

I got my car last June ..I love it ..its bang for the buck ..this is not the car for you though if you want low end torque..Its very good at high end tho . Once your in at 5k ..you'll feel the rush .. very good to have top end power if you go to the track . This car handles superbly . The interior is very nice . Alot of people complain about the Bose system not being good enough , but in my opinion , I think its a very good system . I play hip hop all the time in my car and its fine for me . I get enough treble and bass out of it , sometimes even too much . Only drawbacks i can think are that you have to use preminium , no option for a navi , and no hid's , but other than that i love my car , especially on the freeway , it sure does pull...read morehide

I absolutely love my 04 RSX w/ leather. Considering that it is extremely quick, it does not have "power". But, a great sacrifice considering I can count on 37 mpg. I only need the quickness just enough to pass someone. Great feel for the road. Check the resale values on these cars. Only problem is the handle in the snow. They are through the roof compared to GM, Ford, and others. Only problem is that is seems to be a shopping cart magnet, although I work at a grocery store. A recommended buy. I will only buy a Car from Acura and did buy my wife a TSX. Unbelievable quality and confidence in the product. Has a TLC package that ensures confidence in the company....read morehide

slow acceleration from standing start, issue with 3rd gear

I purchased my RSX Type-S in June 2006. I'm satisfied with the car to this point. There's only two issues I have. One, from a standing start the car is sluggish, it doesn't move until it reaches 3000 rpm. Once it reaches 3000 rpm, that's where the car really shines. There is a definite difference. Second, when shifting into 3rd gear sometimes it doesn't want to go in. I had the same issue with an '02 Civic EX. I would recommend this car to someone who doesn't care about gas mileage (premium is recommended and I've averaged between 18 and 19 mpg, of course that may increase if I drove it more sensibly) and is looking for an enjoyable ride to and from work (I've a 45 min ride to work, so this car is enjoyable for me to drive back and forth). It's sad that Acura dropped this car. I think if they improved some features (engine, sat. radio, etc.) that it could have been re-intorduced....read morehide

I bought a used 2003 Acura RSX, in August of 2006. I love it.

Not only does the outside appearance recieve a double take every time I drive by, but the inside is pretty great too. Leather bucket seats that seat you comfortably. Have 2 cupholders in the front that I use for a drink and to hold my iPod while there are 2 more I believe in the back (dont spend much time in the back as you can tell).

Friends love to drive with me because its a fast, sporty, and elegant car. Im not afraid to challenge someone in a race in this baby, nor look professional in it either. Wish there was a bit more space in the back. I can only fit 2 people and those two people have to be EXTREMELY skinny. Unfortunately a regularly sized person will only fit in the front. Although for me when I usually only drive alone or with 1 other person this car is a dream.

Extremely good on gas which makes me smile at the gas station.
Have ran over at least 20 curbs and even an island (those that seperate parking lots) and have not had one problem. =)...read morehide

I love this car!!! Best car ever, as long as u dont hit any curbs and pop any tires lol. I would never trade it in for anything...
