I just bought my 2006 Acura RSX like 2 months ago and it drives great its fast looks sporty and love to race on the streets with it.. Liek this one time i was standing at a red light next to a 2003 civic as soon as it hit green my car was out i burned him till the next light. Then this other time I beat a 2006 Altima same situation at a red light driver thought he could beat me but I showed him. This car is for anyone who wants a sporty car with no problems this car has great fuel economy, comfortable seats, nice sterio, great handling on curves, and turn, great suspension Its worth every pennny that i paid for it......read morehide

The car does its job, but at too high of a price. For the money you could get a wrx, mazdaspeed3, srt4 even a mustang gt that will all out perform the rsx-s in one aspect or another of performance. Overall the car does decent across the board but it really lacks so much low end tq that I am selling mine. It drives me nuts to rev it to 8k on every freeway onramp to get to speed. The interior is one of my favorites because it is so simple unlike a lot of new cars. Probably a good thing though Honda has killed the DC5's, it is so far behind the other imports and tuner cars out there that it is not even funny. It is really a throwback in terms of tuner cars, taking an overall effort from the owner to get it to compete, but it is a very driver friendly car, I will give it that. I will miss it i am sure, but i do regret buying it and not getting a wrx or mazda speed 3. Honda is missing a turbo in their tuner cars with the new SI. It can't compete against anyone but its motor-mates the rsx and itself. Sad but true, Honda has fallen behind the rest....read morehide

I love the looks of this car and it's really fun to take corners fast in it. Beyond that, I hate it and can't wait to afford a different car. The ride is so rough that if I hit a pothole my molars practically are shaken out as my head smashes into the headrest. I used to commute over an hour each way in this car and by the end of the ride my butt was so sore that I started sitting on a cushion to avoid the soreness.
It's so loud on the interior that I feel like I should ride with earplugs, and I may have done long term damage to my ears by playing the music loudly enough to actually hear it on the freeway.
I also am astounded by the horrible turning radius- I had an easier time manuevering my parent's Grand Cravan full-sized minivan! The turning radius is approximately the same as a bus. This is particularly embarassing in situations where I am holding up liness of cars while I Austin-Powers my way around a turn or try to park!...read morehide

This was to be my pride and joy car and one of the reasons I bought it (besides the style and HP) was a dependable reputation of Acura. So, the HP is adequate (you can surprise a few people), I like the interior a lot (but a 24-oz drink bumps against the dash in the holder and getting blond hair out of the holes in the leather seats is irritating). Not sure why Acura skimped on an inside hatch release.
I agree with other comments about driving in the rain (car is fairly quick to hydroplane).
While I still like the car very much, I'm looking into gettting rid of it after only a year and a half ownership. It has had to have a factory defect fixed in the front strut area (there is an Acura service bulletin on it), the rear hatch lever works, and then don't work, and then works, and the rear washer doesn't spray cleaner (it just makes a noise). However, the worst problem is the transmission. It grabs in 2nd and 3rd gear (notches). Speed shifting is pretty much out of the question. And to top it off, my dealership, Baranco Acura, has provided poor service and, in several cases, damaged the car while in their posession...by far the worst service experience I've had....read morehide

I own an 06 type S, his is a great car, from the gas milage to the head turns that you will get when you drive by. If anyone is looking to get into the tuner world the RSX Type S is a great platform to build off of, the car is a little under powered out of the box but that is easly changed with about 1k of upgrades and if you want more the sky is the limit. I have about 4 k of after market parts in my car and I am planning on adding another 12 grand before I am done with my build. However if you just want a quick little car to zip threw traffic with I would recommend that you buy an RSX...read morehide

1st of all the overall look of it is great. the stock rims are really nice, several compliments have been given. if your going to go for an rsx, go for the type S. lip kit and rims are great, not to mention the 201hp engine. handles great on turns, some say its too noisy inside. but i love the sound of my engine when the vtech kicks in at 5000rpms. the only thing i wish was better on this car is the torque, and the lenght of the gears. Gears are a litte too short, i feel like im shifting all the time. i found myself skipping gears and cruising on 4th or 5th on regualr streets....read morehide

Great work car if you drive a lot and don't need to carry heavy items. Can put 35-45 thousand miles a year on it without a problem. Would like more adjustment options on seats.
