I HAVE A 2003 RSX W/ 55+K MILES ON IT. I LIKE THE LOOKS OF THE 2003/2004 BETTER WITH THE SCALLOPED HEAD AND TAIL LIGHTS.tHE WET HANDLING IMPROVED WHEN THE MICHELIN TIRES WORE OUT AND WAS REPLACED WITH A SET FROM BRIDGESTONE A/T .TO IMPROVE LONG DISTANCE COMFORT I ADD SMALL EGGCRATE FOAM ON THE SEATS.yES IT SUFFERS FROM LOW END TORQUE , BUT THAT KEEPS THE TIRE WEAR DOWN AND THE COPS OFF MY SIX.FOR THE MONEY LOTS OF FUN TO DRIVE....read morehide

BMI is basically the JPN ver of Top Gear. And in the rain, even driving slow, it is horrific. The front-wheels act like they're on ice. Coincedentally the RSX is the best drifting FWD car I've ever seen.. but for most people, that is not a good thing. If you are an car enthusianst to the slightest degree, do not get an automatic. The RSX is under-powered, and you can sense a big difference (its much slower) with even a single passenger, but with a 5-speed stick-shift it is a pleasure to drive on corners, despite the bad comfort and sickening ride quality.. fun defeats all (at least for those 30minutes). The automatic RSX has no response. A loooong delay awaits you when you step on the gas pedal, its almost like playing chess with the car.. and please do not think tip-tronic is a valid replacement for stick-shift.. or that it is the sport-shift you would get in a BMW M5 or a Ferarri 430. It is purely there so you can tell the car to stay in a given gear.. so it doesn't keep shifting up and down in the twisties when you're trying to have fun.. and instead stays in for example 2nd or 3rd. You can shift, but you must do it well in advance. Tip-tronic is better than no tip-tropic, but overall you will be hitting yourself for not taking the time to just learn stick. But then again this car has a known.. very common 2nd gear defect in the manual transmitions O_O .. I dont know what to say. It's kind of like picking the lesser of 2 evils. I recommend getting a Toyota/Lexus for comfort/value, or a Nissan/Pathfinder for comfort/performance. If you must get a Honda, there is a good one out there, and it is called the 2006 Civic SI. That is a good choice. You can tell that is a made in Japan JDM Honda, and not a USDM like the RSX. It has all the pro's of the RSX and non of the cons. Maybe the only problem is it doesn't look as fantastic as the RSX.. but I dont think you will mind that so much when even 3 years from now, you will be able to sell that Honda Civic for almost the same money when the RSX will be worth less than $10 grand. And by the way it features the same engine, in a lighter yet more comforatable body.. so it is considerably faster than the RSX. For shame Acura, for shame....read morehide

THIS CAR IS LOVED BY SO MANY PEOPLE THAT UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS CAR WAS BUILT FOR. I'VE SEEN MANY GREAT REVIEWS STARTING WITH THE INTEGRA (MODEL BEFOE RSX). I'VE RECENTLY NOTICED A FEW REVIEWS COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW THE POWER MUST BE REACHED AT BY HIGH RPM'S. I'VE DRIVEN THIS CAR SOFTLY AND AGGRESSIVELY. WHEN YOUR DOING NORMAL DRIVING WITH THIS CAR IT ACCELERATES QUICKLY AND SMOOTHLY WITH GREAT PERFORMANCE. BUT WHEN THIS CAR IS DRIVEN AT HIGH RPM'S YOU WILL FEEL LIKE YOUR RACING IN A INDY RACE CAR COMPETITION. THE SOUND OF THE ENGINE IS AMAZING AND YOU STILL SAVE A LOT ON GAS. ACURA KNOWS WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT IN A CAR AND THEY DELIVER. ACURA BUILTS ONE OF THE BEST AND MOST RELIABLE CARS THAT CAN HANDLE 200,000 MILES OR MORE WITH GREAT PERFORMANCE WHEN MAINTAINED PROPERLY BY OWNER WHICH IS EASY ON ACURA'S. MY ACURA HAD 195,000 MILES AND DID 120 MPH LIKE NOTHING....read morehide

Cons:
I owned this car for two years. I really wanted an ACURA after I graduated from college. It was a pretty expensive car for the standard model. The sound system is low quality. The backseat is very tiny, and unless you are a child, don't ride in the back because you'll be hitting your head everytime you go over a bump! I have to say that the seats aren't all that comfortable. I think the two worst things about this car is that there is a major blind spot on both side mirrors, and with the 4cylinder AT the pick up is very very slow. On hot summer days the AC would get very warm when idling, I took it to the dealer and they said that was normal-I really wasn't happy with that answer as I have driven numerous OLDER cars that don't do that.
Pros:
The good things about there car are as follows: the hatchback and lay down back seats were so incredibly convenient so many different times, it's very spacious to store things. Also, it is an elegant classy looking car that gets very good gas mileage. The car has really cool interior lighting at night (red), I got a lot of compliments about that! Also, I really liked the leather-wrapped steering wheel (since I had cloth interior). This car was a good car, and tomorrow I will be trading it in (mainly because I've had so many problems at the dealership), I know I will miss it, although probably not for too long! Hope this review helped someone!...read morehide

This is my third Acura, I love this car. Handling is just awesome, and the manumatic transmission is perfect. I can drive strictly automatic on the highway and go manual on the street without a clutch. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for the sport car experience without spending lots of cash. Especially since Acura is dropping the RSX after this year, you can get this car for almost invoice....read morehide

i've gotten plenty of compliments on my rsx since i got it. i test drove the type s and really couldn't notice a distinctive difference from the base model. additionally, i didn't want a standard transmission so i opted away from the type s. in the future type s should go auto too.
