2nd gear grind (for those who haven't fixed it)

Okay for all of those people who do NOT know, the 2006 RSX-S uses the same engine as the 2005 model. However, due to California's new laws, car dealers need to use the SAE method in testing out horsepower numbers; that is why it's number dropped by 9 hp. The supposedly 200 hp on the new 2006 Civic SI is now 197 by the new standards.

This ride is amazing. It's one of the cheapest cars out there for it's value. The seats look fantastic. Interior is all oriented towards the driver; I love this. The K20 responds extremely well to even the most minor mods. Throw in a DC header and another aftermarket exhaust, and you will get low 14's.

However, we all know that the 2nd gear grind is almost a factory defect on ALL Hondas. Therefore, getting this problem fixed is rather irritating. I know many people who got it fixed though by going to the Acura dealer. But this problem is only a minor setback.

The shifting is smooth and the mpg is also decent. 25 mpg is what most people get on their Type S. The thing I hate is gasing 91 octane. With prices rising these days, yeesh. But we have to sacrifice a little for a bit more fun... don't we?
