What is not to like? Great gas mileage, very quiet and people who ride in my RDV 1st time can't believe the smooth ride. Why in the world did Buick quit making this vehicle? I don't need or want a $45.000.00 Enclave. Buick is forcing me to go elsewhere for my next purchase. Tons of storage space. Very dependable. Not one problem in 4 yrs. of great service. The gas guage is not accurate, When I first purchased it the gas gauge flucuated between 1/4 & empty. I took it to the dealer who replaced the sensor in the gas tank, it now flucates between empty and 3/4. The dealers mechanic can't seem to get it right.

I had a fuly loaded Hyundai Santa FE which I loved. The miles were creeping up in it and I wanted someting reliable, economical and with the same features my Santa Fe had. I researched SUV's for months and even stopped people at gas stations and parking lots asking them about different vehicles. All research pointed to the Rendezvous. I bought a CXL fully loaded and I absolutely love it. It's so much nicer than the Santa Fe. The ride is heavy and the cabin is extremely quiet. Sound system is awesome. All the gadgets are awesome. I am still figuring out the OnStar and integrated hands free phone system. Everybody who gets in my Buick can't believe how beautiful the interior is and how smooth the ride is. The 3rd row seating is a must for kids too. They love sitting back there in their own little world. :-)

When riding down the road without the radio, the plastic molding in the back crackles and pops.

I bought a 2006 Rendezvous 2WD. No particular bells or whistles on my model but I must say I really do enjoy driving this car. It has a great look and feel, very roomy especially for a tall "plump" guy like myself. Leg room is sufficient and plenty of storage. i love my rendezvous. I would never own another car. It is spacious enough for long trips and holds everything we need to take with us. Gas mileage is excellent.

I bought this with 6K miles on it, and I have been very impressed with the Rendezvous. Has best cargo space in the class. AWD has performed well in snow. Ride is good, gas mileage on trips is consistently 27/28 which is comparable to a Subaru with twice the space. I have the smaller 6 cyl and it performs well. I opted out of the 3rd row seat and cannot see why anyone would want it unless its for a team van. No storage after the 3rdrow, top storage without it.
I have towed a boat with it and its performed well. A friend of mine who sells Chevrolets said the Rendezvous sells well against other vehicles in its class and has probably saved Buick from extinction. I am guessing there will be a body style remake in 2008 to lure new sales from happy owners looking for next upgrade. Priced well, performs well. Its about what you want, I wanted AWD, some space, a good roof rack for my kayak and some comfort, decent mpg. Got all of that with a Buick, who'da thunk it....read morehide

I actually have a 2002 Rendezvous. I love the look of it and the interior comfort BUT I have had sooooooo many problems with this car! Buyer Beware! I have replaced 7 hub bearings in the 4 years that I've had this car -- obviously more than once in some cases. The first 3 times were covered under warranty, the other 4 were not -- and it is an expensive and time consuming repair! In November of 2005, the car was in the shop for the entire month and the bill was over $5000 to replace 2 hub bearings, head gasket, power steering pump and cruise control plus some other smaller items. Luckily I purchased an extended warranty for $1800 but it was well worth the cost as I have more than quadrupled my investment on this... something you may want to seriously consider if you own a Rendezvous! We have been looking to buy a new car and our local GM dealer told me that the "VersaTrak system is junk"....read morehide

We bought this vehicle slightly used in February of 2006, we had problems the very first day!! It has a cooling system issue that still has not been worked out. The vehicle also needs complete replacement of both front and rear axles due to a clutch problem. The parts are not available for the dealer to get so they cannot fix the car, and we are stuck driving an unsafe vehicle!! Also, the dealer(YATES BUICK) in Avondale Az is by far the worst experience I have ever had when it comes to service. If I was GM I would pull the dealership away from MIKE YATES and try to save what is left of the dealer's reputation. Every person I know will hear about this and I will advocate against General Motors for the rest of my natural life....read morehide

I rented this car while working in Florida for a few months and fell in love with it. When I got home the wife and I decided we had to have one. We purchased one in late May and with exception of wanting a little more power we love it.

I have had my Rendevous since July 2006.I have been pleased with the decision to purchase this vehicle.We took it on a trip to FL and was pleased with the ride and comfort.My main problem with it is I have difficulty seeing when backing up.The back has very limited visibilty to the sides.I am thankful for the large mirrors but is hard to see when backing out of parking spaces.I also have a problem with the gas hand as someone else had.It will say 1/2 a tank when I start it up and the next time it may say 1/4 tank or vice versa.Hard to know exactly how much fuel you have left if it floats.Overall it is a good vehicle.It is very quiet and roomy....read morehide
