Great fuel economy, even for a V-6. Love the sporty ride and corners great for a small car.

Has same rattle in the front vent area on dash and is hard on tires.

To me the car is solid on the road, excellent on pick up for merging into traffic, coast along nicely at a steady speed. Does well on gas mileage highway and around town. Good room on the interior without feeling squeezed in the front driver and passenger seats with the built up center consoles that are now in most autos. Steering wheel design is good when you can hold comfortably at the 10 and 2 and without interference from the (spoke) center piece that houses the air bag etc., when changing hand positions. For its size and class it works! I test drove a Toyota Camry, and wasn't impressed not for the price tag. As far as reliability, thats a test of time..so far so good....read morehide

worst riding car around my 1999 is better than this car. .You feel all the bumps and cracks in the car.

I had problems wih my six pack cd player at first,but its been ironed out!!

I have gotten up to 38 miles to the gallon with my v-6,love the ride and its loaded with a lot of extrs,love the onstar and the phone ,it seems to reach out even when i cant get cell phone service.I would own another chevy malibu any day.

Got rid of my 1997 Blazer for a Malibu LTZ. Gas mileage was a big factor in my decesion and glad I made the purchase. Did love my Blazer, though.

I love everything except the squeaking

I love my 2006 chevy malibu. I have a sunroof and it fully loaded. So far i haven't had any problems with it. I love eveything about it. I just wished they would consider putting lock tops on the gas caps. If you are considering buying a 06 malibu i think it is worth the money.
