Entertainment is great. The ride is even greater. Cruising at high speeds like you're going 20mph. No engine strain. You can ride all day in this GM machine. THe truck conforms to your turns by tilting, its pretty cool. A lot of cool hidden extras. I'm a very satisfied owner. I hope GM doesn't go anywhere because they make great vehicles....read morehide

Cheap interior, long term reliability

GM has been making cars and trucks for a very long time. It amazes me how they cant build a reliable vehilce. I had torque converter problems JUST after warranty expired. I never hauled or towed ANYTHING! They refused to cover it!! GM's explaination was "sometimes you get a bad one from the factory"???? What is that? If your only going to keep a GM product for a short term, I'm sure they are fine. But they do not hold up to Toyota or Hondas for long term reliability or resale. I have always owned Chevys/Fords and will never buy another one. You seem to have to dump money into them to keep them over 3 years. This is unacceptable to me. I bought a 4Runner and it has a much more solid feel but with fewer options. I'd rather have a reliable truck with good resale than a lot of fancy options and a cheap interior. Its no wonder GM, Ford & Chrysler are in such financial trouble....read morehide

Fuel econonomy, and outdated

I bought this truck about three months ago and I use this truck very little. I use it for when I need to tow my rv and haul my family around. I have two other vechicles that i use for commuting and doing the dirty work. This truck tows anything up a 3,500 ft mountain. I is also great in the snow seen as how my commuter is an aveo. I have the Tahoe with the LT package and it has a nicer ride and is also nicer looking than my neighbors Caddilac Deville. This was definelty a great buy and I would recommend it to anyone....read morehide

Good fuel economy for SUV, Plenty of power

very nice, comfortable, smooth, stable ride; holds the road well; plenty of power; the entire family loves this car; xm satellite radio...WONDERFUL; ONSTAR....WONDERFUL; rear seat DVD entertainment system with wireless headphones...PRICELESS (a great investmest if you have children--it is worth it when it is time for a road trip); the tire pressure monitor is also a great plus. Comfortable and Reliable come to mind when I think of my 2006 Chevy Tahoe. Owning this SUV has been a true pleasure and I recommend it to those who are looking for great performance in an SUV.

no aux with standard trim

The Tahoe is an awesome SUV. I'm surprised it can hold up to 9 people in the 3 rows, 3 in the front (with the foldable arm rest in the mid), 3 in the middle and 3 in the 3rd row. Everyone had a comfortable ride.

Power is incredible, you don't even notice the engine too much when driving fast or accelerating and for fuel economy, we paid $40-$50 for a full tank. Not bad for an SUV, if your practical and you need/want an SUV, Tahoe is a great choice to buy. You really get your value in the truck.

I suggest getting a navigation system and dvd system, people will love it. Along with a new grill and rims and your set to go if you want to roll the streets in style....read morehide
