None from the vehicle, but Chevrolet service isnt very good.

I love this truck. I have had it for about 9 months now and i have been very pleased with the truck performance, however, when dealing with the Chevy service department...they make things difficult. They arent very helpful and dont seem to care about making costomers happy.

If I was ever to die with this truck in my posession !!! I want burried in it!!!

I would like to see them sit a little higher, kinda sit like a 4X2 .....but I love it anyway!!

I have always owned a GM product of some type !!
traded a 99 regular cab short box for my new 06 ext. cab. both 4X4's... I will most likely pay it off, put it in the garage for the next 30-40 years and get a mint out of it when I sell it then! It was worth the money! I don't care what anyone else says! no comparison to ford,dodge,toyota,or honda....blows them away in my book!...read morehide

8th new truck I have purchased since 1989, I am pretty picky & this is the best I have owned! Last 2 were Fords, GM just keeps ahead of their competition.

I am surprised that GM & Ford have such good customer loyalty with their trucks. I have been diving Chevy & Ford pickups since the 80's. If you expect to keep their trucks for more than 3 or 4 years you will have to start dumping money into it.
I had constant brake issues with this truck. I had it back at the dealership WAY TOO OFTEN for problems. When the transmission started performing poorly, I dumped it and took a beating on the trade in on a Toyota. GM seems to think by offering a bunch of fancy features on their vehicles they will be competitive. This is rediculous, I would rather have a reliable well engineered truck that will hold up over the long term. GM & Ford shouldn't be surprised they are losing market share to Toyota & Honda. I will never buy another american car or truck product again. They are cheaply built and have low resale values....read morehide

Comfortable for four to five, Smooth highway driver

Underpowered

The same engine in my prior Silverado (regular cab) was a good match. However, in the extended cab with three adults and two children with the A/C on, the performance is less than satisfactory. The truck is constantly kicking-down into passing gear. When I'm driving alone I can notice a difference in performance.

I'll know more about the off-road package as fall approaches. I'm interested to see how it compares to the '04 Silverado Z71 regular cab I traded in for the '06 extended cab.

Purchased the vehicle for approximately $32K. Trade-in value is approximately $22K. Replacement value is approximately $26K. Looks like I'm stuck with this one unless I want to dish out a few thousand. Depreciation like a lead balloon. Where was Doctor Z a few months ago before I bought this one?...read morehide

Ride is VERYSOFT AND VERY BOUNCIE. Seems to have to much recoil.

Takes curves very well. Handles loads okay. Large extended cab for a truck, very roomy. Love the front hood space makes me fill like I'm still in my Tahoe.

I bought a 06 Silverado z-71 recently with the h.o 5.3 v-8. As with most reviews I've read, the interior seating is a little uncomfortable,but I'm big so maybe it's just me.
