I own a 2006 Inferno Red Dodge Charger R/T. the suspension is great, and the ride is very comfortable, but it needs better roters and calipers to be able to stop a car with 340 horses under the hood. also like i said the ESP can not be fully disengaged, sometimes you want to know what your car can do without ESP. should of made some models with a manual transmission for a performance car like this one....read morehide

I've had it a week and i love this car. I was going to buy a smaller engine but i figured the hemi is worth the extra money and it is. The pick up is fabulous. The ride is extremely smooth. It has a sleek look, its comfortable and i love that it sits up high like an SUV. Its perfect for a young woman like myself who wants a sexy car in a full sized vehicle....read morehide

I have owned a 5.7L-V8-16 Valve 340hp Hemi.
Excellent pick up and road stability. Beutiful shape for others eye when the vehicle is on-road. No problem with the gas since the fule is cheaper in Kuwait. Good braking, Powerful Hemi engine. The only thing i dislike the vehicle is too law to park on pavements. The major problem while driving i noticed the visibility especially when you take the rounds-abouts the driver failed to see the left front should be careful. Certainly a vehicle like this its should have on-board camera for reverse mode. Otherwise a wonderful vehicle for luxury drive....read morehide

Good car overall, not enough acceleration. Totally got smoked by a Lancer Evolution MR. Then again it's not the SRT.....

Ever since I saw the Charger re-introduced I wanted one. Well I waited - I know it was hard to do, until the prices came down some. Got a Top Banana with 7k miles for 27k. Not a bad deal for a somewhat limited production muscle car. It's got all the potential to be in the top muscle cars calss if that your goal. Seems everyone is starting to make aftermarket parts for the new Hemi now. I thinks it's a great blend of retro-styling and modern mechanics. The only thing sweeter would be to find a pristine '69 charger and upgrade it to the 2006 engine, suspension, electrical, etc. Oh well those cars would cost probabaly double what these can be had for. Bottom line, best bang for the buck if you into buying a spank these yung kids running around with rice burners - hah!...read morehide

Three months after I bought my R/T, it stalled on me at a red light. I took it back to the dealer just to hear they couldnt duplicate the issue and if it hadnt again to bring it back...well it happened again a wk later. The problem was never resolved.
Six months in as Im entering the freeway, I accelerate to merge, and the transmission slips! I push hard on the gas and nothing happens, Im like a large black boat with no sails, engine, or pedals. This issue happens on a regular basis when I try and speed up for any reason, after a red light, turning a corner, whatever.
Dodge has to have heard of this issue before and if not I have written to them about it. I dont think I can force a recall but I will never buy another Dodge again....read morehide

you don't buy this car for the milage all though we have gotten 30 mpg when useing cruise control, get ready for the stares going down the road, people in parking lots and the "does it got a hemi" comments.I've found the best way to answer that is foot to the floor and let the pipes roar. all in all , if you have the means, we highly reccomend getting one....read morehide

This car is a keeper. I have 500 miles on it so far and I am averaging about 21 mpg. Great power, aggressive looks and lots of room. My 3 boys love it. It really is a well made and thought out design. I'm glad I didn't buy a foreign vehicle.
