I drove VWs for over 30 years, but by 2006, it was just time to evolve. This car handles well, and is very reliable. It came with 3 months of XM radio, and I liked it so much, I bought a lifetime subscription. I get 30 mpg in mixed daily driving, and I can get 40 mpg on the highway for extended periods, and that's on regular gas! Unlike my many VWs, nothing on this car has broken or failed in nearly 3 years.
You can open the windows and moonroof with the key fob, but you cannot close them with the fob, or with the key in the door lock. That's one feature I do miss from my VW.
Also, the coupe is a very good-looking car.
