We have a 2006 Nav Ultimate Elite and have found it is a pretty good truck. Plenty of room and very comfortable on long trips. It is very manuverable for such a big car. I wish they would have had an extended wheel base on this model year because with the third row up the cargo space is very small. We also get stuck transporting all our friends on trips because it is so comfortable and is nice to ride in(guess thats not such a bad thing). It does not get the best gas miliage but for all those complaining about it should have bought a Prius not a two-ton SUV. We certailny didnt buy it for the MPG but its size and aminities.((plus we are from Texas...bigger is better)...read morehide

Dont get me wrong, I love the Navigator. Handles great, quieter then the Escalade and tows more. Escalde Tows 7600, Navigator tows 8750!!!!!. It's time to move on from the Nav though. Horrible fuel economy 13city/18highway. Horrible cargo space with 3rd row up (which it is always becuase i got 4 kids!) I'm done with this thing. I'm going to a Suburban. Gets 15city/20highway. Bigger engine that doenst drink as much fuel. Nicer in a way. Tows 9400!!!!!!!!! Gettin it...read morehide

I have owned many different cars and trucks. Have run into many bad ones and good ones. We looked at every dealership that had SUVs and Lincoln was the #1 pick. Had everything we were looking for plus some. The Lincoln had everything the Cadillac Escalade had plus some, and runs a lot better!!!! Now I have only owned my Lincoln for a couple months it is the best SUV, truck or car I have ever owned. The ride is INCREDIBLE!!! The navigation is a lot more accurate than my last one I owned. This truck has everything my 2004 Ford Expedition had, but more. The kids love the power running boards. There is more leg room in the back seats. The power lift gate is Great. The back up system could be better; I feel that the Expeditions were more precise, but it is still ok. Have not pulled our camper yet, will update this coming summer to compare it to our old truck. The best thing was Ford Credit was offering 0% interest, so how can you go wrong. My payment is cheaper now for a newer and better SUV. All black is a downer, but LOVE MY NEW LINCOLN!!!!...read morehide

I was thinking of buying the 2003 Escalade back in 2003, but when I hit up the Lincoln Dealership I just had to buy the Navigator. The comparison between the 2 SUVs is a lot, the navigator is more of a luxury type feel, with power. It is smooth, and doesn't make as much noise as the escalade. This truck for it's price tag is an unbeatable price! I would buy it even if it was over $100,000. It seems like a god given vehicle. The escalade however wasn't much of this feeling, it was noisy, uncomfortable, and it was plain out nothing compared to the navigator. Once they make the navigator's horses just a bit over or the same as the escalade's, the navigator would be the top SUV! while the others struggle for second place. This SUV is beaurtiful, I give props to lincoln on their hard work and effort. So if you were deciding on buying an SUV, this is the one, it might be expensive with a price tag of almost $80,000-$90,000, but you wont give up on this one. I have experienced no problems with this SUV, it is perfect from the interior to the exterior. Lincoln re invented this SUV with millions upon millions of dollars. It looks like a private luxury plane, while your inside, some features include: (DVD ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM, POWERED RUNNING BOARDS!!, SUPERB NAVIGATION, 6 DISC CD CHANGER, POWERED LIFT GATE, CENTER CONSOLE FOR ALL YOUR STORAGE, FOLDING SEATS WITH THE TOUCH OF A BUTTON!) this is way better than these brand name SUVs such as: (BMW X5, CADILLAC ESCALADE(ESV,EXT), MERCEDES BENZ GL450, ACURA MDX, INFINITI QX56, AUDI QUATTRO, HUMMER H2, PORSCHE CAYENNE). If you do not believe me go look at one yourself, Not being judgemental here, this SUV just has everything you need in an SUV, this is almost as a Concept SUV. So do not hesitate, it has all the neat features SUVs should have. Also it is the first ever Vehicle with powered running boards, it is so high feels like you need stairs to get into it. I am pleased with our navigator, I have a height of a basketball, football player, and this SUV has everyone staring at it everywhere I go. It is smooth, comfortable, has many storage solutions, and is a brand name that is one of the most luxurious, and rich brandnames out there!...read morehide

I love the new navi, but BOY with these gas prices I don't know what to do. I just put her up for sale, cause it just not make sense to drive a truck like this at these prices. I would wrather drive my rig and get paid, since it gets about the same mpg.

I had a 2004 Navigator that came with a rear differencial problem.
I had a terrible time (while pregnant) trying to get FORD to treat me right and with respect. All I wanted was the car exchanged and never did. The dealer was willing but not FORD. I will never buy another Ford in my life.
Not to mention all the money I am still loosing because after having the car repaired three times I ended up trading it. I have lost thousands. If you want one get a used one, say a year old. It's still new but you don't waste your money....read morehide
