Having seen the Motor Trend's video comparing the EVO IX and EVO X, the test driver says the EVO X is better than the IX in most aspects like, handling, steering, braking and ride. Good to learn the new EVO X comes with a better overall performance and an all new styling. The test driver compares it to a lower priced Porsche Cayman costing $75,000 with the same fun driving qualities....read morehide

I think when I test drove this car I had a bigger smile on my face then I did when I bagged my first girl as a teen. With the AWD its hard to learn how to GO from a stop light without bogging it or burning your clutch. Clutch is the downfall of this car. Also the front differential feels grinding during turning, dealership says its normal for a helical type differential. The car once you start to go really takes off quick, so quick you have to change gears like every second otherwise your in redline. The control is amazing, with the ACD its spectacular in the snow you really feel the difference, i tried tarmac mode and snow mode in the snow, WOW what a difference....read morehide

I am right there with Dark Angel from PA. I have wanted this car since its intro to the U.S market in 03. They came to the U.S right after i bought my 03 Spec V. So its would of been a waste of money to eat the down payment and buy an EVO. I have had the 06 EVO SE for about 2 weeks now. It is like a dream come true. I go through toll booths and Security Gates at work (Military) and everyone is like "nice car". It is definately an attention getter. For the money you can not beat this car. It wasn't cheap, but it wasn't 50 or 60 large either. The Recaro racing seats are awesome. I had a pair in my Jetta GLI and i have missed them ever since i got rid of it. Just to sum it up, i love this car and it is worth the bad gas mileage, getting harassed by the cops, etc, etc. Well thats about it for now......read morehide

I love this car. I have owned mustangs in the past and this car blows all of them out of the water. Whoever says that their mustang can handle better than this car is out of their mind. This car feels like your are riding on rails as you go around corners. With just a few slight mods to the car it ran 302hp on a dyno (which would make it over 400hp at the motor). Amazing! This car is like a compact race car waiting to be unleashed....read morehide

had this car for nearly 2 months now. my modified civic si has nothing on this beast aside from its lightness. very strong stock internals, the handling is surgically precise, very rigid body and the pseudo r compound tires is almost like bubblegum. braking is strong, with very good resistance to brake fade (moderate amount of breakdust at end of day) the recaro seats are very comfortable and hugs around your body. in short, incredible straight line acceleration, amazing cornering ability, confident inspiring braking and grip. if i was to bring this to a track or autocross, all i would install is 4 point takatas, cage and race gas....read morehide

I got my new IX 4 weeks ago. It is amazing. So many drivers out there do not know the power this car has, till the light turns green. I love America, but I also love dusting American made cars. It is worth the money from a performance point of view. Inside, does not look like a 35K car. I got the sunroof, HID lights and 315W Stereo which ups the luxury points. I think I got about 220 miles out of my first full tank of fuel, I was being nice till I got to 600 miles. So city mileage I think is below 19, but it is all relative to the way you drive it. If you drive it hard, it will dring gas like a V8. It is getting tinted today, and soon will be lowered and a nice exhaust system will be added. Major street respect from other evo drivers, this car is amazing....read morehide
