traction in rain is rough, alot of small problems send me to the garage every month.

I got this car in october of 2005. All in all its an alright car. But I have been in the garage almost monthly since ive had the vehicle. Mostly for small trivial things. I am thankfull for the warranty I have. To list a few of the trips to pontiac I have made. My sunroof leaked, left front strut leaked oil, stereo ate 6 cds, havent seen them back in over a year later. right rear speaker had a flaw in the cone, front right speaker the same. Lock to the car on the driver door, yeah, doesnt work anymore (thank god for keyless entry). One remote for car stopped working a month after i got it. The door reflector on the inside passenger door broke off after closing the door. The cheap mettalic covering on the automatic shifter is peeling off, the numbers on the stereo is wearing off. And recently the sunroof cover on the inside has started to squeak. All in one year? Sounds like a car thats ten years old. But I must say that pontiac has been great to me. Always taking care of every problem and getting me loner cars for the day as they took great care of my car, and would bring it back to be washed and glimmering....read morehide

Well being 18 years old and saying that I drive a G6 GT Coupe is breathtaking. I'm very lucky to have this sexy sweet car. But it broke my heart to find out that it was leaking. Exactly when you live in Florida where there is a Hurricane everyday. But the problem was that the "robots" didn't connect the drains to the sunroof or something like that. Other than that I have never drove a car that handles this well. I really love this car and would prefer it to anyone. Also I love the crimson red that’s the only color to get on this car. Especially when the rims are shiny as well. Looks really good. Overall this car is one of a kind. It’s unique and special. The 4 door just don’t cut it for me like the 2 door. I love the back of the 2 door so much more! Also

I have had my 2006 GT Coupe since 03/06 and I have never been so disappointed in a car (This is my 12th new car). Something new every couple of weeks. American cars are inferior and unreliable.

Great Fuel Economy, Good power, Quick, Beats most car in class

only 4-speed automatic

Great car, got it about 3 weeks ago, put 1300 miles on it first weekend on a trip and got around 32 MPG, great power, best car in it's class hands down, better than any car in its price range, and better than any coupe in its price range by far, 200 HP is good power, Only downside is that it's only a 4-speed, I would have thought at least a 5 or even 6 which seems to be the standard. Windows are too high to rest your arm when windows are down. You have to open the door at an ATM.

I am loving this car! It performs so well and looks so stylish. My niece calls it my "spy car"!

Dashlights come on Only when the car wants them to.

Best car GM has other than the Corvette. Quiet ride with great handling. Unless you plan on racing it. Engine and transmission are smooth. Seats are supportive and comfortable. Great variety of colors and options.
Access to the rear seats could be made easier. Dashlights don't come on until the car decides it's dark enough outside. Only had mine for a week, so may be more to add later....read morehide

I have actually always had a Pontiac, my last car was the 2003 Grand Am GT which doesn't even compare to the new G6 GT coupe. G6 is A LOT cooler looking and is a bit smaller which is perfect for me because it's hard to find a nice sporty-looking car that's as affordable as the G6. This car is extremely fast. Keeping it below 40 on any road is a chore. There is lots of room for all four passengers. I used to own a 79 vette that was practically new and the GT will probably out do it. With the moon roof open and the windows rolled down it is practically a convertable.

ALL AROUND GREAT VALUE IN A COUPE. TRADED IN A 2003 BONNEVILLE SEEI AND THERE IS MORE REAR SEAT LEG ROOM THAN IN THE BONNEVILLE. MILEAGE IS GREAT TOO. NO PROBLEMS WITH VEHICLE TO DATE. LOVE THE XM RADIO AND ON STAR.
