CD player is my one and only complaint. Doesn't always like to play.

We've owned the car for 3 yrs since day one. Not one repair has been required. The CD player is the only stickler when it sometimes refuses to play our "home made" CD's. Otherwise, the vehicle is everything that is to be expected from a two seater sports car convertible. Exceptional handling, decent power, smooth ride considering its just a couple inches off the ground. The interior is tasteful and elegant. The exterior design is fantastic and instantly recognizable as a Porsche.

As a person who has literally owned 46 cars in my 53 yrs of living, I would say this is the finest example of motoring I have ever experienced, from any car company...period!...read morehide

they have a REAL 4 year 50000 mile / no problem . i was treated perfectly , on every sevice , any thing that went wrong althe way untill the last possible covered item . Broadway Porsche in dallas should give classes on service.

I bought a Boxster last week and drove it to Florida today. While the car is fun to drive and the exterior looks great it is not a comfortable car for long travel. The car is very noisy except on the smoothest highways. It bounces around and you feel every imperfection of the road. I was also very disappointed with the interior of the car. For the 48k list I figured they would make an effort to use luxury materials. I also own a Audi A8 and there is no comparison between the beauty of the Audi interior and the stark blandness of the Boxster.
The interior lighting is also lame, something out of 1980's Dodge parts bin. I got the sound package plus and the stero is awful. Very hard to hear over the road noise. I wish I got the Bose. There is a rattle in one of the speakers already. The car is fun to drive but can be very tiring on a long trip. I regret not getting the S since while the power is adequate, it is nothing impressive. I also regret not getting more interior upgrades such as nicer leather and wood. The interior doesn't match the beauty of the exterior.
It's a shame that Porsche doesn't benchmark Audi's interiors. For the price it is a ripoff to not do a first rate job on the interior design and materials....read morehide

This is my first Porsche roadster. I owned a Cayenne for a short time.
When selecting this vehicle I compared it to the BMW and Vette.
I went with the porsche for exclusivity, and because of the way it rides & handles.

This car has the best suspension of any vehicle I have ever driven or owned. It beats the Honda S2000 for drivability. When I had my Honda it really needed to be wound up in order to get the power rush.
This car gets going immediately, no delays! Also the two trunks are handy for daily driver usage.

The vette has plenty of power but I hated the interior. It just felt cheap and there are a lot of vettes on the road. Not so many Boxster S out there. Same with the BMW Z4. Too many versions out there.

I expect this car to really hold its value. This helps in justifying the high initial cost....read morehide

The AC could use some improvements in warm climates. Retractable side mirrors could also be a plus.

Whoever thought that a Boxster is the Porsche of choice for those who cannot afford a Carrera, please take a test drive and think again! This car has exceeded by far my expectations. It is powerful, precise and a head-turner wherever you go. Top-down in a clear sunny day would convince you that you have made at least one right decision in your life! I have no clue how I could best describe the feeling this car procures to its driver, but I can certainly try to discard whatever description /appellation that don't apply to this German goddess. Every time I get into my Porsche, I feel like a kid in a candy store.
It is worth every penny and I don't mind making monthly car payments; because, I love this car! If you do decide to purchase Boxster...get the S with 6 speed manual transmission.

I have always wanted a Porsche and I am glad I did not wait any longer. My TT Roadster was unreliable and not a true sportscar. This vehicle is awesome! The handling, power and quality is worth each penny. 9,000 miles and not a single problem.

This car has been the best investment I ever made, this is my weekend toy,,, vs my husbands Harley.

Once I pull it out of my garage and take the top off.... being priviledged to great wheather in Miami Florida, I take my porsche out for a spin.

I have owned a BMW convertible, but to me this is one of the best cars that I ever owned....
