Purchased As New
I bought this car new in 2006. I drive it every day to work. Now I live in Germany and it does very well on the Autobahn. While certainly not as fast as other cars, it easily goes 130 KMH (about 85 MPH) all day long when traveling. It has hit 105 MPH and it was not downhill.
The Europeans that see it are always facinated by its look and interior capacity. I had to give up telling them it was a Scion as they have never heard of them---to them it is a Toyota.
My wife and I love this car. My boys are over 6 feet tall and their knees do not touch the seats in front of them....read morehide

I've had this car since January 2007, even knowing that the 2008 was just around the corner. I decided to go with the original since it would be the last year Scion would make this special body type (2006).
I adore this car, my daughter and her kids realyy kick a kick that I have this really cool car.
In fact, my other car is a muscle car, a 1963 NOVA SS, which I show during the car-show season. I have to say I get as much compliments on my Scion as I do my show car!

When you test drive this, you will fall in love with it. I love my toaster on wheels. I have so many people stop me and ask where i got it, how does it do on gas and where they can buy one. When my husbands grandparents where down from Iowa they rode in it one time and went home the next day and bought one. IT is so worth the money!!!...read morehide

Well you get what you pay for.....i guess......I got this car as a graduation gift. its a pretty easy car to drive, it does not have that much power i.e. 4 cylinder. the sound system is very weak{i almost blew the speakers out / not even that loud}.....although the car lacks some things............the MPG is very good......and the car is very roomy.

I am 6'4" and fit with ease in this car. I purchased the car 7 months ago and have put 30,000 miles with no problems except the rattling windshield trim. Easy fix with electrical tape. If you are not sure...please be sure. This is a good working car that can get great gas mileage. 30 city 35highway...really!...read morehide

Sweet. Toyota built!!! I purchase a Honda CRV for myself and the Scion XB for my son. I soon wished I had the XB and believe it or not my son would not switch with me. XB gets much better fuel economy and appears to be as peppy on acceleration. Noise level is unbelieveably low for a four banger! Price was considerable lower compared to the CRV....read morehide

I didn't realize how much attention this car would generate. Many people come up and ask what kind of car this is, and most opinions are positive.
I think it is fun to drive, and enjoy the many gas stations I can drive by without stopping.
