I wanted to buy one of these cars.. I test drove 7 cars. They all seem to have this engine shake that I don't understand. Engine sounds ok. but the shaking just get me worried. I also saw that for a two year car. Oil was coming out of the valve cover gasket.

Ths car is great. Solid feeling even after 1 year of ownership. 34.4mpg average on 2 roadtrips! If you let the engine switch into vtec mode it almost feels like a turbo kicks in!

traded up from an integra gs-r, wish I would have stayed with a manual! Can rev the engine to get at the power with the autostick, just not quite the same as the gs-r. But otherwise, very happy with the car. Highly recommend it.

I have 2004 tsx 6 speed. This the first sedan that I owned that handles as good as my MGB. I drive from Los Angeles to San Fracisco 1 to 2 times a month I can go up the big Grapevine Grade in 6th gear and using cruise control at 70, YES 70 plus MPH and if I have to accelrate the TSX will accelrate, no problem. I have taken 4 people up to gold rush area of California no problem, we go wine tasting so we haul back at least 2 to 3 case of wine and our luggage. No problem with power. No problem for people in back seat. I had a Mazda Miata try follow me couldn't keep up, my sedan handle and accelrated better I didn't belive it and neither did the Miata driver. For FUN and comfort, oops almost forgot trip from LA to SF is 5 to 5 1/2 CDs, there is not a car like the TSX. I replaced the Micelin tires with Goodrich TAs quiter and handles a better....read morehide

I've had my TSX for a few months now, and overall it is a great purchase. I looked at the BMW 3-series & G35, but they're both very pricey when considering options. Acura has a compelling price-point advantage.
One thing everyone seems to think is that the gas mileage is terrific. It is not. The most I ever get is 23 mpg, and this is about the same as the I6 3-series. The low-end power lacking in this vehicle is more pronounced than what I really expected. Getting onto the interstate to battle traffic requires your foot to the floor every time.
I'd still buy the TSX again in a heartbeat, but the low-end power needs to be addressed in 2009....read morehide

Have owned my TSX for six days, and have returned to dealer to fix rattles in console and break pedal, as well as rough engine--shakes car when A/C is running and when idling at a stop. Dealer insists that engine noise and vibration are normal, even though test drives with this and other TSX's were smooth and quiet. Still like the looks and handling, but not pleased with engine, fit of interior components and dealer response. Would not buy this car (maybe it's just mine) if I had it to do over again....read morehide

Car drives very nice on HWY, no bad on gas through the city..., for a medium person its perfect..,but if you 6'4 you might wonna consider the TL.
Has absolutly no power from the light, once it picks up speed then its not bad, you can be doing 160-180 cofortably, but if you like a little of torque from the light its defenatly not the car for you. Over all the car is good, handaling is stiff, holds the road very well on the stock 17' inch , i just wish it had
like 260HP...then it would be perfect....read morehide

I have currently owned my acura for about 3 months. so far I have no major complaints. My only nit picks are I wish the ride was smoother, and the blind spots on the mirriors are taking some getting used to.and the leather and seats are hard to keep clean and moist. However, when I decide to trade this vehicle the resale value in itself helps me get over those minor annoyances.
Being a former owner of Acura..(still own a 1996 Acura Integra..which still runs and is in good condition) I will probably never buy anything other than an Acura. My next purchase in 5-7 years will probably be a RL.
Overall, from customer service to the actual ride of the vehicle I am very satisfied.
I recommend this vehicle as an alternative to drivers who are thinking of purchasing the lower series BMW, Lexus, and smaller GMC cars. Its truly a fully loaded luxury car for a very economical price....read morehide
