My main gripe is about the floor mat. They have small velcro pads glued on them. Previous models had screw in mats that were more secure. The velcro pads came off my mat and got stuck on the accelerator causing me an accident. Beware!!! I absolutely hate the sat nav - way too difficult and not very user friendly.

What a great experience in driving! You are one with the road in your own world

After owning my car for one year, I feel that I need to write a serious review about this car to let everybody know about some issues before you find out on your own!
I am still satisfied with the performance of the car overall. However, I am extremely disappointed with the Run Flat Tires on this vehicle. I just had to replace all 4 tires on my car and I have less than 20,000 miles on the car. The cost, you may ask? $1200!
The maintenance package DOES NOT include any type of warranty on the tires! NONE! I am very disappointed about this.
Just beware people; nobody is going to tell you this when you are buying the car. If you ever get a nail in the tire, there is no fixing, no patching; you will have to replace the tire. That can cost you anywhere from 260 to 400 dollars.
If you can afford dealing with the tire situation, then it...read morehide

As with many others mentioned, have had oil sensor problems from the second day I had the car. The dealer replaced the sensor, and it just continues to give alarms/false alarms - no oil, below minimum, add 1 quart and OK. Take your choice, I get all messages interchangeably and on the same trip. There are alarms going off all the time -- windshield washer fluid goes off constantly -can't be using that much fluid, low tire pressure, etc.. And these alarms override the I-drive system. GPS is not as good as Acura, although have gotten used to it. Programming it is more complicated and while I know you are not supposed to program while driving -- the complexity of programming GPS makes it almost impossible to do while driving. Delayed acceleration -- has the power eventually to take off, but can be a bit of a problem on on-rampls when trying to accelerate. Nice handling though around corners. Can't say I'm a BMW fan, and I wanted to be. Glad I only leased for 24 months....read morehide

I also traded in my Audi S4. Not sure what the other former S4 owner is talking about. The 335xi is faster, sticks in the corners better, gets a couple MPG more, and is about 3 grand cheaper. Also offers more options/color combinations. Oh yea, better resale value too. No-brainer in my book. After driving Audis for the last 17 years, finally made the switch. Love my new Bimmer. Audi made two big mistakes - going away from the twin turbo V6, and upping their price....read morehide

Aside from the cons, this is a great car to drive. Well made, solid, it hugs the road. The Run Flat tires are an interesting concept, however the cost of replacments and buying winter tires is a little costly compared to regular tires.

I was impressed with this car for the first 8 months, then the reality started biting and has been my worst car experience so far. Have owned Japanese brands in past that never failed even once in 8-9 years, but this BMW has started giving problems with engine, transmission, brakes, 4x4 drive system, and many other techincal issues. Seems it's computerized controls malfunction often and cause unpredictable and dangerous mechanical reactions on the road. This car has failed twice in last 6 weeks for me (totally undriveable), the dealerships have a lot of attitude problem in fixing them, what they did the first time did not help and I have been without a car for at least 3 weeks during last 6 weeks, causing a great deal of frustration when I needed it the most in bad weather and from safety perspective. PLEASE DON'T BUY (or even lease) THIS CAR!! Does BMW stand for Big Money Wasted?...read morehide

I've had this car since August and is definitely the best car I've owned. The performance is great and acceleration is awesome. I was sideswiped on I95 in the rain doing 75 MPH and I was able to control the car to the extent that damage was minimal - the Ultimate Driving machine.
Some features that are standard on much lower end cars (Homelink, Bluetooth, sat radio, a compass) are not standard which I find pretty bizarre. I think the Japanese manufacturers have the Germans beat on features, but don't come close in performance. Next time I will buy the upgraded package....read morehide

I love the new red. Was planning on getting a used one until I saw the 07's. Since I plan on retiring in 5 years, I thought I might as well go for a new one and pay it off in that time. I am a school bus driver and have been driving for over 33 years. This BMW spoils me and I know in the future I will be buying another one. I wish BMW made school buses, but the new bus I have now is really nice which makes my job more enjoyable. Driving my BMW and knowing all the engineering that has gone into it makes me feel that I bought the right car. I was so impressed with all the reading material and dvd's that I received, was like taking a full-time class learning all BMW has to offer. It's like being a school bus driver, you have a million things to learn and the BMW has a great history and knowing your vehicle from top to bottom will only make you love everything about it. I wish
everyone could get a chance to drive a BMW and see the differents.
Being a professional driver, I know now that safety is the No. 1 importances in the minds of the BMW people. Thank You for creating a diamond on wheels....read morehide
