You don't see many Corvettes here in Kauai and it's admired every time we go somewhere. At 71 years old, my kids and grandchildren thought I was having a late mid life crisis. This is the type of car I have always wanted to own and wish I had bought one sooner. I love everything about this Corvette and have always wanted one. The salesman tried to talk me out of buying it because of my age. The manual 6 speed shifts easily and I find the seats comfortable for my 6 ft frame. The acceleration is breath taking and the AC will make ice cubes in this hot Hawaiin weather. We take it down to the beach and watch the sunset often. GREAT CAR! Let me start off by saying I love my car and wouldn't give it up for anything. However, it does have it's little problems. Like bubbling interior parts, sqeaky removable hard top, very expensive tires wear out quicky and front-end needing alignments often. High Performance for price

Cool, Awesome, High-performance, almost an economically viable option for normal people. Gets as many horse-power per Liter as the Pagani Zonda. Faster than any ford product.

This is my 4th Corvette and without a doubt its the best so far, the looks are excellent and the power is absolutely wonderful. People look and admire at every corner and stop light!

Gear way too tall for my taste, style should be bolder

It's the best car for the money, and it won me over, but it's not perfect. The gearing is way too tall for my taste. I strongly preferred the seat of the pants acceleration that the Z51 ratio provides instead. Surprisingly, the Z51 feels faster though it clearly is not.
Styling should be differentiated further from the base model. And should be more aggressive....read morehide

Fuel economy? Get a Honda.

At 62 years old and having owned many Corvettes in the past, this is the best one ever. I could even argue that I no longer need to work out as this little thing puts my heart rate higher than any tread mill ever could. It begs to be pounded but be careful [says my insurance agent].

I have just under 6,000 miles on my 07 Z06. I averaged 24 mpg traveling from Sacramento to Las Vegas and back again! During that trip and on one stretch of open highway, I took it to 165 mph in fourth gear!!! (and still avg'd 24 mpg!)
It is worlds faster, better handling and more comfortable than the 2004 SVT Mustang Cobra it is replacing!...read morehide

This is the Worlds's best value for a High Performance Sports Car & its made in Greatland America. Plus the base engine get 28 on the highway. That's better than some under powered mid size sedans!
