I'm not so sure about the integrity/durability of the car. It doesn't seem to be made to last...

I love the look & feel of the car. I've been a monte carlo fan for years & their's only a few styles I didn't appreciate. The 2007 is a nice looking car, I get lots of looks while driving it. I'd say overall it's a good buy but I'll remain concerned about the integrity of some of the cars vital components......read morehide

I LOVE my Monte Carlo! It's a lot of fun to drive & I get a lot of looks, especially from guys. I have had NO problems with mine. It rides smooth & easy to handle. I am so glad that I got the last year model(2007). I plan on keeping it for a long time. GM has another winner. I can't believe that they are not going to make any new ones. In the previous review, bad (DIC) still the same, dim during the day and night. Very cheap plastics, noises all around. Not good for a one year old car. Now I find corosion on all four wheels at the center near the hubcap of the wheel, now I have to take it back in for another BS repair. What poor quality from GM. Not sure where the quality thing comes in for this product. Cheap plastics, rattles, and creaking noise in the winter. For the arm and leg they asked for it, well not gonna happen again with me. Shame...I really wanted a Monte Carlo, should have just kept my old car.

I've always been i huge monte carlo fan and this car defintly does not disappoint. The 3.5 v6 is a little underpowered but in these days I would rather have the good gas milage. Great car for long trips or cruising around the city. Dealer added the SS racing stripes on the LT for me, defintely makes it look that much sweeter....read morehide

poor paint finish i all jams, rear brake rotors rust over night

This 04 is my first Monti Carlo and I love it overall. On this car I have to work on the rear rotors every 12,000 miles since they rust overnignt and sounds like the pads are wore out and yes it is driven daily. Dealer says that is normal altho I have an OLD Chrysler that sits for months at a time with no unusual bake noise at all. This is the only one I have seen that the finish in all the jams looks like some one painted them in an old dusty garage, absolutley no shine at all, not a factory finish look. GM refused to correct this. It was a very nice sunny day when I bought the car so this didn't show up until I had already signed the papers and saw it under less than sunny light. I am concidering a new car again but after owning well over 25 Chevys and the way GM has handled my concerns on this one I am now concidering another car even with the customer loyalty incentive of $1000, but no imports, I buy American cars only. I have a 2005 Monte Carlo SS and I love this car.
It is pure fun to drive. As I mentioned in the con section the gas milage is not the best for city. That is the price you pay for an SS. But get it out on the open road and Whooooooooo Weeeeeeeeeee it is pure enjoyment to drive. In the end the pluses out number the minuses....read morehide

LOVE IT! Great price for what feels like the muscle car of old.. Great on snow and ice.. Unbelieveable power.. The only draw back is there is so much torque and power from the front wheels, that when you stomp on the gas pedal, you better have both hands on the wheel... She's an ANIMAL!
