I have a 2004 Monte Carlo LS. Although I was initially pleased with the car, I quickly grew weary of the maintenance trips back to the dealer. Very Roomy, The V8 is phenomenal, and very smooth ride, Great take off on acceleration

Torque steer is crazy----Hold on tight when u gun it.

Finally, a V8 Monte, They should put an optional rear wheel drive. It is very different than any other car out there, and certain better looking than any japanese garbage out there. I recommend this car.

For the money this car by far beats out any Japanes car in its class. The reliability is just as good if not better and and the apperance is not a rubber stamp copy of what every other auto manufacturer is producing. The detail of the car is very good along with the fit of all the body panels. This is a fun car to drive because of the performance and handling package and yet you can get very respectible fuel mileage. This is a true 303 hp power plant, you are truley driving a muscel car. My first Brand New Car and I LOVE IT! The car almost drives itself it handles so well. Quick on turns and manuevering in heavy traffic; sporty look; the combination of a family car/sport car is so convenient if more room is needed; the trunk is huge so packing for a trip means taking everything you need plus some; the car is air tight; love the GPS and Onstar; the sound system is great;

I have a 2003 SS & 2006 SS. I love them both. The 6 cylinder is jus as fun as the 8 but less power. The leather is nice but in AZ, I prefer the cloth in my 06.

I am very happy with my choice to buy the Monte Carlo SS! I have a performance coupe along with the room for 5 people! With more hp, torque and being lighter, its faster then a Mustang GT coupe! The mpg is good, and acceleration is awesome! Also the Monte Carlo SS coming with more standard features then Mustang GT! Only thing I dislike is the front-wheel drive... but it is helpful in the snow. Over all this is a great vehicle, and one you should test drive for yourself before you go straight to the imports or a Mustang!...read morehide
