I love the look & feel of the car. I've been a monte carlo fan for years & their's only a few styles I didn't appreciate. The 2007 is a nice looking car, I get lots of looks while driving it. I'd say overall it's a good buy but I'll remain concerned about the integrity of some of the cars vital components......read morehide

In the previous review, bad (DIC) still the same, dim during the day and night. Very cheap plastics, noises all around. Not good for a one year old car. Now I find corosion on all four wheels at the center near the hubcap of the wheel, now I have to take it back in for another BS repair. What poor quality from GM. This is the last GM car I will own, shame. The 06 Malibu Max LTZ I traded in for this was better quality, and was cheaper on insurance. POOR POOR Quality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...read morehide

Not sure where the quality thing comes in for this product. Cheap plastics, rattles, and creaking noise in the winter. For the arm and leg they asked for it, well not gonna happen again with me. Shame...I really wanted a Monte Carlo, should have just kept my old car.

I've always been i huge monte carlo fan and this car defintly does not disappoint. The 3.5 v6 is a little underpowered but in these days I would rather have the good gas milage. Great car for long trips or cruising around the city. Dealer added the SS racing stripes on the LT for me, defintely makes it look that much sweeter....read morehide

My parents owned an 81' Monte Carlo. This car reminds me of it, I see traces of it in my 07'. When looking at comparable coupes like Solara and Accord, the Monte was the smartest choice. Standard V6 power that way outperforms the aforemention 4 cylinders and competes with their six's for about 6k cheaper. My LT has leather, roof, in dash six CD, and the safety of On-Star. The styling of this car, the foreigners can't touch with a ten foot pole, it far exceeds average style. My Monte is precision red with the optional 17" wheels. I have gotten too many complements about it. My parents 81" was my first school car 13 years later and i'm sure my 07' will be my son's first carin 8 years, if i'm ready to part with it by then....read morehide

Drive the car for 4 days on a business trip, covered about 600 miles, mostly highway. The steering is extremely overboosted and there's no road feel. I felt like I had to pay attention constantly to visual cues without tactile feedback. The ride is nice enough, definitely set more towards the softer side. I got about 500 miles on a tank of gas, which is pretty good for a car this size. Power was average at best, if you care about this sort of thing, definitely go for the SS trim. The transmission takes a bit of prodding to downshift, but in top gear it lets the engine spin at about 1700 rpm. Very quiet inside, nice ergonomics and everything was easy to reach/understand. Great sound system. The length of the car is offset by a nice turn radius, so it's fairly maneuverable for its size....read morehide

Had my 07 Monte LT for a month now and I am very happy so far. Onstar free for a year is standard in most GM models which is nice. The ride is very smooth and i never peel the wheels when i punch it because traction control is on but you can always turn it off. Plus I have been using e85 which is cheaper and gets the same MPG as regular gasoline. The only thing that seems to unplease me is that the view is slightly obstucted from the driver seat. Mirror blocks view and blind spot is there as like many other monte models. But all together I am pleased and thinkin of trading it in for a SS model next summer....read morehide

This car is one of the best to choose from considering its gas mileage, and its fuel economy. It is better for the environment and will save gas and the ecosystem.

Other than a few cheap cost cutting moves as listed in the cons section, I really like my Monte Carlo. The 3.5 engine really moves out well and gets fantastic mileage. The car handles the curves really well and it has a nice firm ride. The front seat room and comfort are fine for long trips. It is really sad that Chevy is dropping there last true personal luxury coupe in favor of the modern faddish crossovers which do nothing for me. I will hopefully keep this car for many years to come....read morehide
