The ride is awesome. Big vehicle comfort sitting up high with excellent visibility

Cons

Haven't found any. Some think the mileage is poor but if you compare the value it's not.

Overall I've had the vehicle for a little over a year and have had zero problems. One factory recall, other than that the warranty has fixed any sort of problem - window molding came lose.

WE love this tahoe. We had 2 Suburbans before and the gas mileage was the same as this tahoe. The ride is great and we have over 30,000 miles now on it and the only problem has been replacing the door ( inside) handles because of pleeing. I would buy another one if I had too.....If you can afford a tahoe then you can afford the gas!...read morehide

1) Needed new power stearing rack at 4K
2) Engine rear main seal oil leak
3) Anti-Freeze leak
4) Dash board vibrates under acceleration
5) Third row seat would not lock in position

I knew the mpg wouldn't be great but it's an SUV!!

I absolutely love my Tahoe. I wish the center console had a lid on it but that isn't a big thing. The seats do look really messy w/the Ebony interior.
My gas mileage is better than I had expected and what all of our friends told us it would actually end up being. They said I would be lucky to get 14.5 city and I actually get about 16.6. The first time I drove from Tulsa to Wichita I got 19.8 so I really cannot complain. Cannot wait to tow the boat w/it so I can see how it does at towing!

great ride and looks, my family felt very safe on it whenever we are travelling on interstate highways, and this vehicle can easily handle a big wheels and tires i just changed mine with 24" wheels and boy it really looks neat and rides exceptionally perfect and we cant complain more, thank you chevy you did it again!...read morehide

I just love my new Tahoe, I was prompted to buy a new vehicle because of a car accident, so I traded in a 3 mo old wrecked Cobalt and a 2 year old Trailblazer to purchase the Tahoe. I hated to see the Trailblazer go, because that was such a great truck, but love the Tahoe, I don't have all the bells and whistles, but I have the 6 disc MP3 player that I wanted, I keep the XM activated and have a sunroof and the 8 passenger seating. It's great to taking people places, almost never a need to take more than one car anywhere. I am excited to get to take it on 3 road trips this year, it should be fun. I would recommend buying a Tahoe to anyone, they are just so comfortable. The cloth does get lint on it very easily, but at least you're not freezing on it in the winter like leather. My brother has a 1999 Yukon Denali and is major jealous over this vehicle, he can't believe the improvements they've made. Mine didn't come with the remote start feature, so I am going to be getting that activated later this year (and yes activate, for anyone out there considering this, all Tahoes come with remote start, some just not activate, I wouldn't recommend going out and getting aftermarket, just buy 2 key fobs that have the function and take them into get activated, should only cost about $40 at the dealership if you have the fobs!!)...read morehide

I love my 2007 Tahoe! If you buy one, go all out like I did and get all the bells and whistles. The chrome package makes all the difference. It had been about 20 years since I last purchased a brand new vehicle. Autos have become very smart over the last 20 years! You can even program very specific functions with the door locks, interior lights, door chimes, etc. All this and with GPS and ONSTAR too! AWESOME!...read morehide

engine makes a roar when changing between the four(4) and eight (8) cylinder modes.

I have taken this vechicle to two different dealers trying to get someone to listen to engine roar and change tones as it changes from 4 to 8 cylinders, this 4 to 8 cylinders is Chevrolet answer for meeting MPG standards. The dealers I've visted claim they don't hear the roar. This vechicle roars as if I had the base on the radio max out.

No one can answer my question as to which 4 cylinders are cut out during while in the fuel saving mode or do they rotate. Will the 4 cylinders that stay engaged wear prematurely.

When in the 4 cylinder mode this engine is surely out of time or out of balance and on one at Chevrolet will admit it.

I gladly invite a rep from GM to drive this unit and experience what I hear on a daily basis. I would never purchase this engine again....read morehide

Great GPS, better than any after market I've used before. Heated seats feel great during the cold.

I agree with the rest of the group, MPG is not what is advertised. 3rd row can not accomodate adults

Great ride, great price, great features. I got mine in November '07, during the clearance sale. So I was able to get mine close to $40k. Buyers should get an option of Sirius or XM radio. The 3rd row seats can not accomodate an adult, the seat belts do not go all the way accross an adult body. No cargo room, so we have to half of the 3rd row out to place our stroller. No complaint on the vibration, or any defects, so far I'm very pleased with the car. And I still consider it a better buy compared to the Sequioa, Expedition, Denali, Escalade, etc....read morehide

Love it. After shopping, I got a around 8k off of sticker (includes rebate). White with Black inside looks great. This "truck" rides as good as my 2001 BMW 740i. I also have a 2006 Nissan Titan (which I love) and the Tahoe rides so much better. I keep asking my wife to let me drive it. I have not had any service issues yet. I recommend it to anyone....read morehide
