I put it on the road from chicago to alabama over 760 miles. I drove it there and back even though I had 2 capable drivers with me. I loved the smooth and comfortable ride. When I wanted to make a pass the power was there to do it with ease. I don't like driving in traffic because the HEMI needs to breath ( it wants to go). I own the 2008 Daytona Edition in Hemi Orange. That said I get a lot of looks. Truckers will give the thumbs up. Those who may pass will slow down to take a second look. I would recommend this car to anyone interested in a sports car but, has to get a family car. Did I mention Hemi....read morehide

No manual option, No setback on Mirrors

Let me start by saying I love this car. It rides beautifully. It handles potholes and rough roads with out wrenching your back, yet it gives superb feed back when driving aggressively. It has a wide stance that helps to make the car feel very grounded while maneuvering. If you live in a city with tight spaces that wide stance may be a bit of an issue when you need to squeeze into a tight alley or parking lot.

It should go with out saying that this car has power to spare. When you get that opening on the highway you can truly take advantage of it.

The only things I would change would be the side mirrors need to be set back further into the mirror housing, snow coats the mirrors too easily with the current recess. And the back window does not seem to shed water very well in a down pore....read morehide

This is the best and most comfortable car i have owned in several years, my last car was a maxima and you couldn't give me another one of them, plus the fact their a dime a dozen.....I have had for 2 years and people still look in awe as i drive down the road it looks that great!!!!!! odemeter jumps from 0-100 and back to normal often

The overall car is good except for the fact I had no idea how fast I was going until I was pulled over by a cop and got a ticket for 89 in a 70 $162.50. You see the speed odometer would jump from 0 to 100 quite often. Now who should pay the fine, Dodge or me? If dodge is having a problem with this, then it should have a recall on it to save people like us from getting speeding tickets. I think dodge should pay the ticket since it was their problem. I won't ever own another dodge it will be FORD or Lincoln all the way. Dodge has nothing but problems with their automobiles....read morehide

I can't afford two

I drive this car the Tored Red and people look at it like they have never seen anything like it. They all love it and ask what it is. I couldn't be happier. I have a Trans Am Firehawk 2002 with the LS1 6 Speed and I get more looks in the Charger.

I did have the Sammy Hagar R logo placed on the back window and tinted it all out on sides and front header.

I love this car. We test drove the Avenger and it just doesn't compare to the Charger. It's just a tough looking car. Only problems I've had since I picked it up in Aug 07 is a computer error which was quickly fixed and the key doesn't always work. Otherwise I am very happy with it....read morehide

I did internet research before I hit the dealerships. Six out of seven of the dealerships I visited had sales people who I would consider almost completely ignorant concerning the MDS system and some of the other features. I bought a R/T with the R/T package two months ago in September. The odometer had eight miles on it when I test drove it. I took great care to break it in properly.

I can not even get the 23 miles per gallon traveling down hill from Midland to Fort Worth TX with a tail wind traveling 65 MPH, no A/C or traffic much less the 25 MPG as advertised on the window sticker. I used the cruise control and the ...read morehide

Sluggish performance. Loose stering. Poor gas mileage. Terrrible transmission.

I had the 07 Charger as a rental car after my accident a few months ago. I might have been better off walking. The 2.7L V6 has no power at all. Accellerating from a stop light is like a 747 on a take off roll. The gas mileage was horrible. In the 15 days I had it, I averaged about 14 to 16 MPG in the city. My wifes beat up truck gets better mileage than that. Plus the transmission was really jerky. Especially getting up to speed on the freeway. it sad to see a big 6.1 L engine with little horsepowers compares to Porsche 3.6L with 480 horsepower. what a waste gas! the sound system was bad and the vehicle shake too much. it nice to have a smooth engine running. this company is way behind technology. it times for highschool kids to teach these old folks...read morehide
