Great vehical, bought an SE for wife in late 05, good car, good mileage, perfectly adequate power for all driving conditions. Handled poorly in snow and Ice so I traded it in for a SXT AWD model recently. The old one held great value and the SXT is very nice. 1/3 more power, better handling;more nimble, Took it up to The mountain pass and roared arfound in the ski parking lots for a while, lots of fun and it handles pretty well considering the width of the tires on snow and the AWD ( it's not a Land Cruiser in snow but works well enough, way better than no AWD....read morehide

Transfer case took in water, it took four trips to the dealer each time telling me there was nothing wrong. I found a Chrysler service bullitin on the tranfer case, told the dealer. Then they found water in it cause a hopping at slow speed. The transfer cas is imported there were none any where in the country. It took four weeks to fix, no loan car, not Chrylers policy.
I got fed up with poor service, dealer could never fix the rattles, pulling to the right, and wobble in the front end.
I sold the car sent a cashiers check express mail to Chrysler Credit, India call center is very frustrating. I was promised I would have the title in five working days. It took forty two days, 19 phone calls, it was a miserable experience. I was lied to repeatedly, I was given no apologies or excuses either.
I will never buy another Chrysler product again....read morehide

I UPGRADED FROM 2.7 TO LARGER V6 DUE TO EXPERIENCE WITH 2.7 IN INTREPED. (SICK ENGINE). ALSO REMOVED FACTORY TIRES AND UPGRADED TO H RATED WHICH MADE BIG DIFFERENCE IN HANDLING IN WINDY CONDITIONS. FACTORY TIRES WERE ALL OVER ROAD IN WIND AND EVEN NORMAL DRIVING. ALIGNMENT WAS BAD FROM FACTORY AND HAD TO BE CORRECTED. WOULD NOT PURCHASE FOR PERSONAL USE BUT MAKE GOOD BUSINESS VEHICLE WHERE STORAGE IN NEEDED....read morehide

This is a Great Automobile. If your are in the market for an automobile with ample cargo space with a butt load of power. This is the vehicle for you. The Magnum performs great on all levels.
Reminds me of the Hot Rods of the past with the exception of the feature comforts of a modern car. A throughback to the old Chevy Nimrods from the 1950's. What a Winner!...read morehide

For about $20,000 (new) with Electronic Stability Program, it's an excellent value. I've used it for long daily commute for last 3 years now and liked every trip that I made in it. Had no repairs of any kind so far, except for rattling rear speaker. The rear tailgate opens really nicely so packing it with cargo up to its full capacity is easy. The base 2.6 L V6 engine is not exactly a racer (which most of us don't expect from a commute car), but runs smoothly like a Swiss watch and gives enough power to command heavy traffic on So. Cal. freeways. Steering is superb and compares favorably to that of European cars like EuroFord, Saab, Audi, and VW that I drove lately.
I hope it's still in production when I am ready to buy a new one....read morehide

I actually still love this bargain of a dream car - and she impresses all who ride in her. However, the AutoStick doesn't work as promised it wont hold an upper gear for reducing torque under slippery conditions not noted by ANY auto journalists (you guys???). Gas mileage well it a 340HP V8! The tranny (Daimler-sourced) died at 20K miles; caused by water contamination from the A/C condensate drain. The PCM computer and engine thermostat replaced under warranty. No repair yet for the erratic operation of the sunroof. Mysterious rattles unrepairable - steady and intermittent. Tires worn out after 30K miles. Whats next? Extended warranty?? how can I lose!! Well its a TYPE of dream! No wonder Chrysler is in deep ...read morehide

Oh My God! I have been driving an '06 for several weeks now- I am a used car manager for an Acura dealership in the North Suburbs of Chicago, and this was a trade. It had 19,500k on it, and as you might expect the 20" monsters needed to be replaced.
This is the most fun I have had in years driving- and that's including MB AMG's, BMW M series, TL type S, you name it- it is thirsty but it is
an incredible sweetheart of a car that is as confortable as it is insane.
Great stereo, good Navi system, well-designed seats andd lots of leg room for my 6'4" frame, this is truly a manly car... no sissies here.
Just wish I'd had it longer......read morehide
