was impressed with the vehicle and the way it handles the road excellent sound system. in my opinion, the V6 has good power and smooth shifting.

The car is cheap... Initial value means just that, value while its sitting new on the lot. Ok, had the car for roughly 4 months now and the interior has more squeaks and rattles than my old truck with 150,000 miles on it. The driver seat squeaks, the passenger seat squeaks, the handle above the passnger seat squeaks when pulled (I've decided to keep a bottle of household oil handy) and the speakers in the front doors sound like they are blown because the plastic around them vibrates.
The engine (4 cylinder, if you must have a Ford, buy the V-6) sounds horrible and is weak... Has krappy gas mileage for a 4 banger, tranny shifting is extremely sloppy and annoying as second gear jerks you if you do not gas it right...
All in all, I'm very dissappointed in the car... I cannot wait until my lease is up so that I can get out of it. Its really sad how many corners were cut to save money on manufacture and materials, and Ford is thinking about raising their prices? Don't buy a Fusion....read morehide

The SEL AWD V6 is a very nice car for the money. At around 12oo miles
I hit a pothole and had to replace a front and rear Aluminum rim. They
cost $500.00 each. As long as I watch out for potholes I know I will like this car.

my dealer was at fault never told me the NEW car had 500 miles on it brakes (4 wheel disc) shook me off the seat had to have all four discs refaced before going home in my new car the console was full of used napkins and kleenex to boot--again poor dealer work. all in all I like the car but do wish the transmission had a "second" position . I live on a hill and have to ride the brakes all the way down. I try to buy american but this was built in mexico. I have owned 200 cars-mostly Ford- but will probably buy an american made toyota next time....read morehide

Braking is atrocious on this car, not the only Ford to suffer from this. They entice with "the little things," mentioned in the commercials but big things like engine power, capable braking, even handling are missing. I owned the car for less than a year. The 4 cylinder is completely not worth it, and overwhelmed, even as the manual version which I owned. The automatic revvs noisily as it is overwhelmed by the car's weight. I traded it in and bought a Civic and the crisp handling and braking made me feel safe.
Too bad but more of the same from Ford. A nice looking vehicle like all the rest from this company but missing the big things. I liked having leather interiors and alloy wheels with my elegant fusion which is roomy and beautiful inside and out but did not feel safe driving it.
The handling is bad compared to an older Focus I had. You slide a bit and roll. The braking is like that of the Freesyle, expect to rear-end someone, and the power is similar to the Explorer, not enough. Gas economy like handling is not all what it is touted to be....read morehide

I found it a very good car, very good looking, roomy, comfortable & price with all features excellent.
It has a very good engine 2.3 litre with 160 horsepower, which complete ur requirements in both way, economy wise & power wise.
I am enjoying my fusion especially while i am in Canada.
WHY SHOULD I PAY MORE HERE TO BUY A IMPORTED VEHICLE. IT MAY BE OK IF I AM IN USA....read morehide

Traded a 2003 Accord in for this car. Things I like better about the Fusion: better handling, slightly smoother ride, less expensive, little lights under the side mirrors, fog lights, automatic headlights, information center in the dash, built in compass, better sound system, map storage in dash, auxillary line in for the sound system, back-lit steering wheel controls. Things about the Accord I miss: locking gas cap access door, slightly better gas milage, pneumatic struts for hood, nice instrument illumination, driver's side window automatic both up and down, headlight switch on turn signel lever.
Surprisingly, the Fusion is turning out to be somewhat more reliable that the Accord....read morehide

What can I say this is a car you should test drive before you look for Honda or Toyota

Have had for 2000k, most people that see it think it more expensive than it is. Sunroof wind noise very quiet at highway speeds, V6 is little noisy under harder acceleration from stop. Like the fact I sit higher in car then comparable imports. On the whole pleased with car. Have not dealt with service department yet - my previous Contour and local Ford service department had a "frosty" relationship....read morehide

Have only owned FORDS for over 25 years. Purchased 2007 Ford Fusion on 9/17/07 at 6pm for son's 19th birthday present. About 11pm same day the engine TOTALLY gave out and son and 3 friends pushed car 2 and 1/2 miles home and then car had to be towed in to dealer. Told them I didn't want the car -- basically was told once I drove it off the lot I was stuck. Have said over and over the last 3 months I still don't want the car. We were without car for nearly 3 weeks while engine was replaced. 2 days after getting car back we took it back to dealer because of noise and found out bolts were not tightened and tires were loose. Dealer talks about giving this or giving that in compensation but so far....nothing. Even was told they would make my first car payment only to receive call from Credit Company payment was never made and now late. Now windshield is cracked and I'm looking for a different repair shop. To this day have never heard from car salesman who sold me the car. Would most likely still buy another FORD but NOT from Pasadena Ford and most likely not buy another Ford Fusion as I have NO confidence....read morehide
