Traded a 2003 Accord in for this car. Things I like better about the Fusion: better handling, slightly smoother ride, less expensive, little lights under the side mirrors, fog lights, automatic headlights, information center in the dash, built in compass, better sound system, map storage in dash, auxillary line in for the sound system, back-lit steering wheel controls. Things about the Accord I miss: locking gas cap access door, slightly better gas milage, pneumatic struts for hood, nice instrument illumination, driver's side window automatic both up and down, headlight switch on turn signel lever.
Surprisingly, the Fusion is turning out to be somewhat more reliable that the Accord....read morehide

Despite the two cons I still love my Fusion. The turning radius and high trunk is easy to get used to. Just be careful when backing up. I think the 2008 Fusions are coming out with a parking sensor, which would help a lot. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. I got it at a great price in August and I have no regrets. I've driven it almost 4000 miles since I got it and it is very comfortable (especially on the highway). I used to buy only Toyotas, but I'm glad I picked differently this time. I also looked at the Sonata, but my mind was set on the Fusion. I'm not sure the fuell mileage is as stated, but I read that you have to break the car in until it reaches over 5000 miles. Almost everybody I know loves it and it is a great choice for a midsize sedan....read morehide

I had officially dubbed myself a Honda man and assumed that I was destined to purchase a new 2008 Accord when the miles began to add up on my '03 model. I began my search for a new vehicle and took the '07 Fusion on a test drive. I must say that I was skeptical at first, but after a few minutes behind the wheel, I fell in love with this car.
If you are in the market for a mid-size family sedan, give the Ford Fusion a chance. With my budget, I could only afford a new '08 Accord LX with cloth seats, no satellite radio, and a smaller engine, etc. My new Fusion is loaded with a V-6 engine, leather interior, Sirius Satellite radio, alloy wheels, moon roof, an iPod hook up(finally, no more FM modulator!!!!) and everything that you would find in an expensive car. The best thing is that I am paying much less!!!! There is not much difference in the '08 and '07 models and the dealers are giving much more incentive to move the older models off their lots. Give it a chance and you'll be glad that you did....read morehide

We have owned our V6 SEL for almost a year and have driven 17,000 trouble free miles. The handling is sporty and the car is rock solid without a squeak or rattle. I had read a good many reviews before purchasing the car and I expected it to be good, but not this good. The Fusion replaces a Chrysler 300 M, and except for appearance and slightly less comfortable seats, it is a better car in every way, and $8,000 less costly. I have always owned sports cars or sporty cars, and still have a Mazda Miata and a Z-28 Camaro, so I appreciate the taut European-like handling of the Fusion....read morehide

We love our Ford Fusion. I have had vans or SUV's for the past 10 years, but I love this car! It handles wonderfully and my children have plenty of room in the back seat.

I've enjoyed everything about this car so far. Fuel economy, ride, looks, quiet, everything feels tight. The V6 seems the way to go for power but I tried the 4 before purchasing and it felt pretty good as well.

I actually own a 2006 V6 SEL. All options. Presently have about 17,800 miles. No problems, no rattles, very solid car. Handles very confidently. Average MPG is about 24.8. Have taken trips and have reached 30.8 MPG per the computer. This cruising at about 70MPH A/C on. Very happy with this car. This car does compete with the Accord and Camry....read morehide
