I can not wait to turn this car in next year. We will never drive Honda again. I have had it in 7 times in two years. The customer service we have received has been horrible. It would not start and they said we have to get it there. Everytime something is wrong they say "nothing" the first time it is in, and then the second time they find it. We are going back to Ford....read morehide

Nice Vehicle overall, looks good for a van, interior is comfortable and roomy. The gas mileage results are disappointing. Not sure what the advantage is for the ESC or cylinder shut-off. The EX-L w/DVD trim level does not come with a trip meter or auto-head lights (standard on many other vehicals costing much less) so you must manually track mileage the old fashion way-each fill-up and the odometer. Not as accurate, but I assure you, this car does not achieve a highway rating above 21.5 depending on the load and elevation changes. In town is in the 17.5-18 range. This is just a step above a SUV. In my opinion, Honda spent many dollars on R&D for the engine cylinder shut off option and found itself cutting back on other options (found on most other cars) to get thier price point needed for retail. In other words, they spent so much money on something that just did not pan out to what they thought would be a huge marketing edge-Cylinder shut to saving on gas. The tranistion from 3 to 6 cylinders is very smooth and my hats off to the design and engineering teams that worked out the dynamic balance. The road noise is a Honda trait (Not sure why) and is to be expected. The rattles in the doors, NOT A HONDA TRAIT and is really unexceptable. I have spoke with the dealer and they indicated that they would take a look at it. I test drove the Toyota and found it to be very quiet. Honda just had thier end of year deal going on and I fell for it. It is not that this is a bad car, ~7,500 miles and no problems, don't expect any, it just seems that a car that cost this much ~30K should have more standard options. That my input/story-Mostly ups for the car, but some trade-offs for sure....read morehide

The 3 cylinder/6 cylinder motor was suppose to provide great fuel economy, but it must have just been a marketing ploy. I never can feel when the cylinders switch, but if possible, I'd just as soon it be locked in 6 cylinder. This thing EATS GASOLINE!!
Driving it home from the dealership with 4 miles on the odometer, the downshifting was very noticible as I approched stop signs. The transmission is a little "herky/jerky" downshifting. But, I had just traded in Cadillac, so I wasn't expecting perfect smoothness.
I bought the Honda for resale values only....read morehide

I love this van inside and out. My only problem is the lights for the back seats do not switch off by themselves after a while ,if they are switched on. (As it is very likely when you travel with children, and why would you buy a van if you do not have children!) That means it kills my battery all over and over again if I don't realize in time and switch them off. Honda really should correct this problem....read morehide

I love my 07 Odyssey. It is quiet and drives great. We have no issues with this car and get very good gas mileage on long trips and about 19 in city. I love the tight steering and turning radius. The DVD is great for the kids, screen is large enough for both back rows to view comfortably.

interior design and folding third seat very functional. Have 12,000 miles on car and no problems or defects.

We took a long trip in our Odyssey and it was very comfortable. The DVD is a life saver. Our son could watch all his favorite cartoons. The extra outlets in the third row was great for my personal DVD player so that I did't have to watch only cartoons. Love all the cup holders. Also
I do wish we had more standard features like running lights, and automatic open and close of hatchback. For the price more features should be standard.
Our dealership is wonderful and the oil changes are cheaper than doing it ourselves or going to a quick lube place....read morehide

I felt for what I paid for the Odyssey there should have been more options considering what the Chrysler T&C has on it. The carpet set up for the floor storage is terrible, along with the set up for the middle seat in the second row.
Running lights should be mandatory on all US vehicles. It is a safety feature.
The touring model has where you can check your gas milage between fill ups. The EXL-D does not. I don't understand why a feature like this is not included.
The outdoor temp should be located where both the passenger and driver can see it.
I have a roof rack, but it costs extra for the two cross bars which makes no sense.
The side doors are automatic, but the rear tail closure is not.
The plus side, the ride is comfortable. I went on a long trip, and it was a great ride. I felt it was a fairly quiet ride.
It cornered very well, and I liked the handling of the Odyssy.
It has lots of storage, which is nice and many cup holders are available.
They hold their retail value of all the ones I checked....read morehide
