this is my 2nd hyundai (upgraded from the 05'accent). When i took delivery i had to look again to make sure this was a hyundai! very attractive from the roota to the toota! it's sporty, with a hint of luxury, on the outside. on the inside well laid out and functional. it does nedd more legroom for me, (6 foot 7in) but for the average person, its my best pick! i'm looking forward to taking delivery of my next one (08' GENESIS). best bang for the buck. durable and most of all RELIABLE....read morehide

I bought my 07 Elantra after my Stratus 2 door 5 speed V6 sports coupe was totaled. I was really bummed about the Stratus until I found this car! I thought I would miss the V6 power I had but this 5 speed Elantra has plenty of power and it's also great on gas!
It handles the road great and I'm happy that I have a 4 door.
This car stands right up to the Honda Civic, look out Honda the new Hyundai's are here to stay....read morehide

I bought this car for the fuel economy and on 90% city and 10% hwy getting 26-28 mph. Handles turns well with low body lean, brakes good. Accelerates well for 4 cylinder motor. Wind noise and hwy speeds normal with no extra rattles of other noises. Feels more expensive than car actually costs. Excellent build quality....read morehide

well to be realistic, this is a compact car is not a super car and if you actually knew anything about cars you would know new cars dont really aim for that, i love the car the way it is but i'm still gona add some eye candy to it like LED tail lights, head lights, side mirror turn signals, gas door, thus far i have 8000 miles on my car and i have no complaints so far besides the bouncing on the road from the factory tires, theirs allways room for improvement no car is perfect i plan on addressing that with bigger rims, i mainly walked on to the lot and didnt know much about the car cause nothing much is ever said about it in the TUNER world but i mainly bought it for the looks of it and to my delight there are tons of custom part for this car so my mission is to turn this car into a show car at the very least.. i'm not dreadfully concerned about the GO in the car because i have tested and comfirmed that its the driver not the car i have smoked a number of cars by simply puttin the car in neutral at the red light and raising the rpm up slightly by mashing the accelarator a bit and hittin drive when lights green ITS JUST STRADEGY obviously your not gona smoke any mustangs with any stock 4 cylinder if you could the mustang would have been of the shelve years ago or even decades ago.. up grades for performance on this car are available every thing from shor ram cold air intakes to racing chips, lowered suspensions, strut bars the possibities for this car are endless and obviously the people that complain about speed in this car must have missed the 90's genaration of cars where you escort or cavalier or sunfire or civic or corolla only came with 89 to 96 horsepower ya have no idea and are ungreatfull for the 50 more horsepower cars bring now and obviously producing power to your cars is something that is rocket science to some but dont bash the car for your lack of knowledge.... in final yes i do recomend this car it great its not the best but it holds its own and the warranty dont hurt either the features exceed my expectations i love the xm radio and the security of the multiple air bags i would rather have that than an additional 40 to 50 horsepower cause i can do that my self but would be less likely to DIE...read morehide

I bought new a '87 toyota and when i wanted a new car i compared toyota, nissan and honda. the elantra offers so much more for the money. I boughy the limited and toyota does not even come close to the elantra. This car is quiet comfortable and a pleasure to drive. A great value.

I bought this car after driving similarly equiped Honda's and Toyota's. This was a substiture car to replace my F150, and the savings in gas makes the car payment for me. The car drives very solid, and tsteering is responsive and the motor is great, with just enough power for passing and avoidance. I highly recommend people take a serious look at the Elantra, I've owned mine for 4 months and and very very happy with it....read morehide
